I went to the store just to buy a pack of low-rise trunks. I simply picked one pack and went to checkout. The cashier told me there was a 30% discount, and my total came to about $38. I thought, “Great,” and decided to grab another pack.
When I returned to checkout, another staff member attended me. This time, she told me these were “fresh pieces” and billed me $125 for two packs. I explained that the first employee had mentioned a 30% discount. Then she insisted it was only 20% off, making the price about $44 each.
Two employees even went to ask the manager, but the final answer was still 20%. Clearly, the staff had no consistent information on their own promotions. Because of all this confusion, I wasted over 30 extra minutes in the store.
In the end, I only bought one pack for around $45—which was more than what I was originally about to pay at the start ($38). The whole experience was frustrating, and I left disappointed. Honestly, I won’t be returning. Next time, I’ll just choose another brand rather than go through this again.
In total four sales employees and manager got involved just for one pack of low rise trunk.
