  It’s hard for any Apartment complex to get a five, but I could’ve given at least most of the staff here especially Betty of five. She will drop everything to bend over backwards to take care of whatever needs you have. Today I went in to get help with a problem in the mail room. She walked right over with me and took care of it, which isn’t unusual for her. She also asked me to leave a review and so I did but it’s very heartfelt..

  Ryan is a reliable and hardworking member of the maintenance team. He takes initiative, completes tasks efficiently, and always maintains a positive attitude. His attention to detail and commitment to keeping everything running smoothly make him a great asset to the department.

  The Calais Midtown is a great place to live. I have been a resident for 8 years and it’s a place I call home. The apartments are spacious and beautiful. What makes the Calais my home is the friendly leasing staff, Bettie, Jay and Raina. I have known Bettie since I moved in and consider her a friend. She has made me feel like I’m a part of the Calais family. Besides her warm and friendly disposition, she has been so thoughtful and helpful. She is there to help you with things even beyond the Calais. She is one of the most important reasons why I have stayed at the Calais so long. I hope she is here for a very long time after. Lindsey is the new Property Manager who oversees everything. She is very approachable and so nice. She listens to your concerns-and keeps the Calais beautiful. She is open to listening to the concerns of the residents and is the final decision in most matters. She is fairly new and has become a big part of the Calais family. I’m not forgetting Jay and Raina, who always greet you with a warm welcome and the biggest smile. They are enthusiastic and always willing to help you. Last but not least is the great Maintenance Department. Ryan manages a talented staff who help keep the Calais the Calais. Ryan is the master of everything and goes over and beyond to make sure the apartments are kept in tip top shape. He is very knowledgeable and will answer any concerns or issues you might have. He is supported by Brian who has been a major help to me. Brian works so hard and you won’t even know he’s been in your apartment because he cleans up so well! So beyond the beautiful buildings and apartments, it’s the staff who really make you feel like you’re part of a family. That’s what makes the Calais so special. Many thanks to all!

  Great staff! Specially the maintaince! Ryan is an exceptional maintenance professional at our apartment complex! He’s skill, efficiency, and attention to detail ensure every repair is done right. Always friendly and approachable, they listen to residents’ concerns and create a welcoming environment. Dude’s dedication makes our community better, truly a gem!

  I’m really happy with my new apartment here and appreciate Reyna for being so helpful as I had a tight deadline for finding a suitable apartment. The apartment itself is clean, has tons of space while only being a 1br 1ba apartment, and I feel safe living in the complex with the door alarms on exterior stairwells and PIN codes required to get in. I can’t say anything about the parking garage as I do not have a car but this is also a relatively walkable part of Houston (which still isn’t a lot, but is good for Houston standards of walkability) and super close to the red line Metro rail, and is right along the Westheimer 82 bus route.
