Scheduled a consultation appointment- lawyer (D. Farrell) no-showed. Called to check in, he was "unreachable" but they would get a message to reschedule. Received a calendar invite 2 days later for the same time of day which I was able to accept, but yet again, the lawyer no-showed. No email apologizing asking to reschedule, nothing. Unprofessional and rude.

As my attorneys, Peter and John provided exemplary legal counsel and diligent representation, safeguarding my interests, culminating in a timely and successful closing of my real estate transaction.

Very difficult communication and unprofessional customer/client treatment. I scheduled a consultation with David. David was a no-show to our scheduled call. I called the office manager. She setup a new appointment with John. John was a no-show. I called office manager to elevate my dissatisfaction. John contacted me directly and interrupted me while I was attending an appointment with someone else. John asked if I would agree to an impromptu consultation. I agreed, in order to be prompt and constructive. That was a mistake. It was a very unstructured and confusing call. I sent documents for John to review and he indicated we would talk again in a week. John stated he would get his supervisors approval to proceed. John never called back. I called more than 3 times in the next 2 weeks for status. Despite the office manager claiming my request was “escalated” to top priority, I never received any further communication from a partner or associate within Calabrese firm. I found another firm to handle my matter. Calabrese cannot be recommended, and others may want to avoid wasting time and resources on Calabrese’s unprofessional and callous approach.

I can’t recommend this practice. I contacted them to review my condominium documents to help me understand what my rights were regarding upstairs neighbors. The communication was difficult. Instead of interpreting my condo documents and reporting back with where I stood and whether it would be realistic to move forward, he started a deep dive right away. When I asked for an update on what he learned and how much more time he would need, he said that I was asking for “ the findings” before they were complete. In the end it was not realistic to pursue and i ended up spending much more than my original budget. Exactly what I hoped to avoid. I recommend a more experienced condominium lawyer..and with one who doesn’t request your credit card number. I’d say that’s a red flag.
