  We have gone on several fantastic trips with Capt Herman and have had a blast every time. He has always been an excellent guide for us and we always have a great catch. In additional to being such a great skipper, he also loves to share his life experience and teach you about the local area. He is exceptionally patient with new people and will offer advice to improve your fishing. Our family was just down to Venice recently and we managed to take two trips with him. The first trip was for snapper in the bay and the second trip was for reds and sheephead. I could not recommend anyone else for a better experience if you want to do bay fishing or bayou fishing than Herman. Getting there is a big piece of the fun and Captain Herman knows all the short cuts and glides over the mud flats with ease as well as his high-speed drifts around the reeds. I cannot say enough about spending the day with him. He will make sure that you have a great time and that you learn about the cajun lifestyle as well.
