I had a super positive interaction with one of their managers the other day... James? Not sure, he had great hair and a great personality though!

The only thing is each time we’ve been in, the way they pour beers has wayyy to much head - like 1/3 to 1/2 of the glass - we thought it might be because we had tried a specialty beer, but I took a picture of the other beers that were getting poured and they’re all like that. So I would say for next visit, please more beer instead ;) !

The frites weren’t hot, fresh and crispy, the Luxemburger was well seasoned but not served hot, the cucumber salad wasn’t light and crunchy from freshly pickled veggies but tasted like jarred pickles with a pinch of spice. I’m surprised because it wasn’t busy and Café Hollander is a spot where you can anticipate quality. It must be one of those days.
