- MMMona MorantJul 11, 20251.0I had a terrible experience with Cabinets to Go in Columbia, SC. The cabinets we ordered didn't come with everything, and the countertops didn't come at all. We ended up cancelling the countertop order because they were going to take an additional 3 weeks to come in. They said it would take 2 weeks to get the refund. After the 2 weeks passed, I called to check the status and was told I needed to pay an additional $150 to get the $3000 back! Make it make sense. Absolutely horrible, unprofessional service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

The contractor we hired to put things back together did not perform, which delayed our reinstallation project about 3-4 weeks. We were desperate to find someone we could depend on to sell us the proper replacement cabinets and to install them properly as fast as possible. Since our old cabinets were installed several years ago by Cabinets to Go in Charlotte and had served us well, we contacted the Columbia Cabinets To Go store in Columbia on Two Notch Road. The staff there did an excellent job of getting our cabinet project completed in a timely manner and the entire process was handled with outstanding courtesy, understanding, competence and support! This Cabinets To Go store employees and their product cannot be beat or probably matched. We will be eternally grateful to them for coming to our rescue!

From the start, the process was a mess. My cabinets arrived late, and when they did finally show up, I received items I did not order. This mistake was completely on their end. When I reached out, I dealt with James, who showed a shocking lack of professionalism and concern. Instead of helping me exchange the wrong cabinets, I was literally told to throw them away — and if I wanted the correct ones, I’d have to pay again. Yes, you read that right — they expected me to pay a second time for the cabinets I had already ordered and paid for. To make it worse, they refused to take the incorrect cabinets back because it was “outside the 90-day window,” even though the delay and error started on their side. The customer service has been absolutely horrible throughout. Calls went ignored, accountability was nonexistent, and I was left holding the bag for their mistake. If you’re considering working with Cabinets To Go in Columbia — do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.
