- JSJustin SSep 25, 20255.0We purchased a house in Fayette Co. that needed HVAC work in the basement and the 2nd floor. We contacted all of the major "economy" and "Fayette" air conditioning contractors in the area, but were unhappy with the scope and quotes that we received from them. We wanted a Daikin mini-split system, turnkey installation, along with some duct work in the basement re-done. We called C.R. Augenstein after learning they were Daikin Comfort Pro certified and quickly got a hold of Nick. Nick was level-headed and down-to-Earth with his design and recommendations. Their pricing is fair and their level of service and customer care beat all of their local competitors. Not only did our mini-split installations go smoothly, but Nick's recommendations to our existing heating and cooling were reasonable and logical. No scare tactics. I highly recommend including Augenstein on your bid list for your next home HVAC project.

One simple call to the office and they make it happen ASAP with the friendliest of service. Randy is my go to guy with an attention to detail that is absolutely exceptional. This guy can do anything AND make it look great! He takes his time and constantly checks in to make sure the project is up to your standards. You're missing out if you're not using these guys and when you switch you'll see exactly what I mean. We waited over a week for AmeriGas to respond and we ran out of propane in the meantime and still couldn’t get delivery. We finally gave up and called C.R. a call on a chance for heat. They answered, scheduled, and delivered ON A SUNDAY!!! Shoulda called C.R. Augenstein first!
