Oh my oh my, this is our second visit. The food checks all the boxes. We already have family ready to visit again. Portions are great, flavor on point, and prices that make you check twice. Great Job to all of the staff there.

Chicken wings are top shelf quality and jumbo sized - no, really large! The ribs, fried chicken and fried seafood wee exceptional. This is a hidden gem. Great owner who came over for a chat great employees

I found this place advertising on FB. I ordered online to pick up as I was driving from Reston. The chicken wings and shrimp made it home still hot. It looks like their posted pictures - Delicious and crunchy!

I saw the sign from the road and and gave them a try. The restaurant was clean but it was a bit shocking to only see 3 customers during lunchtime. There wasn’t anyone upfront to greet me for about 5 minutes. It appeared to be only one employee conducting all roles. He was nice. The food portions were generous and the presentation of the food was good but falls short of soul food. The food lacked seasoning, The fried okra quality was horrible to eat because each dwindled down to stems much like soft splinter wood pieces. The chicken wings were not fresh , undercooked, bland, and tasted like chicken grease. The potato salad lacked mayonnaise and mustard, and was dark and outdated. I never took a bite. I threw my entire meal in the trash. $20 down the drain. Hoping to find an authentic soul food restaurant in the area one day. Until then, I will just have to cook it myself.
