At this price I would expect white table cloth service and what we experienced was more like Applebee’s service. It wasn’t bad but it certainly didn’t live up to the price. For one, they sat us at a bar table even though we had a reservation a week in advance. Server was slow to greet us and although he was friendly he didn’t really take the time to engage. The Empanada trio was delicious but after clearing the appetizer plates the bus person told us to save our silverware even though we asked if it would be refreshed for our entrees. So we laid our used silverware down on the bare wooden table top for the next course. Yuck! We had the Coulette Pichana steak (which the server couldn’t explain), the Lobster Ravioli and the Short Rib Gnocchi. Everything was delicious although greatly overpriced. Drinks were slow to come to the table when we first arrived. Several dark TVs at the bar led us to believe they didn’t work and took away from making the atmosphere livelier. It’s hard to recommend against this restaurant since the food was so good but we know there are many other options in the area for better value and better service. We dined at The Eagle the next night and absolutely loved it (great food and value).
