Was also misled on a few issues , was told they were in net work with my insurance and confirming with my insurance also said they were in network, someone did not update they weee not any longer and was still telling people they were , did not get an accurate estimate when asked what my portion would be , I paid my estimated copay and got a bill for over 600$ that a huge difference from an estimated 4$ copay, Aggressive treatment plans with out disclosing their inflated rates creates huge bills with the pt unaware, anyone wanting to go to this practice need to ask for the offices fee schedule ahead of time to compare with what is contracted with the insurance so you know what your fee will be, had I know ahead of time I would not have done this treatment and given my self this huge bill

Man, where to start with the journey of this very shady and money hungry business. We are very honest people who have always paid their bills on time if not early and do what we can to brighten someone else's day. This business told my wife that they could fix a procedure that was completed at a different dentist office and that insurance would cover it. So, naturally my wife agreed to it. They performed the procedure and then 1 year later, they have charged her almost $1,600 with the reason of the procedure was performed a few months before the 5 year mark. So, i call to talk to them and they tell me that it is not their standard procedures to check with insurance before performing a procedure. It is the customers responsibility. Now, I have never ever checked with insurance before any procedure dentist or otherwise and I have never been lied to about it (like this business did) I will check from this point forward but I digress. So, i ask them to refund the charge to us because they are at fault and lied to us. They have refused up to this point to refund the charge. I talked to the office manager and she refused to refund the charge but also refused to let me speak with her immediate supervisor stating "that is not how this business works, I am the boss" So they have left us with no choice but to report them to the BBB and the dental board association to get help with the negligence of there office. I hope this reaches the owner and you will refund our charge and issue an apology for your mistake. I have contacted five other dentist offices around the area and each of them state that this is most likely a mistake on the person who checked the insurance for my wife that day and gave us the incorrect information and now we are charged $1600 and it will go to our credit report. Also, this office has sent us a bill for my daughter who has not been to their offices in about 1.5 years, so there is that. I have no idea how they get so many 5 star reviews but it is probably because they run incentives for 5 star reviews. To add just a little to that, I have never ever left a bad review of any business because I simply just dont have the time. This is not an insurance issue, it is a Burlington Family Dentistry issue. Hopefully it will be resolved correctly.
