- BWBrad WistedSep 29, 20213.0Service up to my delivery day yesterday (9/28) was pretty good. I scheduled my delivery for morning. I hadn't heard from anyone yet, so at 11:45 I called my sales person and was informed that due to a person calling in sick they were behind schedule. I understand that unexpected absences happen and luckily didn't need my order today. What I did need, was to be at a job site for work at 1:00 and needed to get on the road shortly. I was told (with a snotty attitude) that they had to deliver that day, and that they couldn't bring the order back to the yard to deliver another day because would be inconvenient for them. Well, me not showing up to my work job site means multiple people and heavy equipment sitting idle until I get my work done. That is not acceptable to have them waiting, and BFS didn't have a time they'd be here. This forced me to find an available crew to go fill in for me, which is an hour + travel each way plus time off their own workload. When my delivery does show up at about 1:00, I am missing the screen door for the patio door. The driver makes some comment blaming the sales person, snaps a quick photo and runs off. I hear nothing more about the screen door. The following day I head over to BFS to get my screen door to find out that the driver apparently didn't say anything about the incomplete delivery. I head to the building with the sales person to rummage around and get my door. Now, I helped out this sales person when they were in a pinch a few weeks back. They had another customer that needed some siding components that I had on hand since my siding order had shown up considerably earlier than my windows. I lent them those parts to keep another person's project going. I wasn't too thrilled, but since I didn't need them for a bit I could manage without them. I guess helping them out is just one-sided. If they would have called in the morning when they found out they were short-handed and would be running behind, it would have been easy to reschedule to later in the week for me. Instead here we are, and I will be sourcing my future projects from your competitors.
