Between the hours of 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7th, my wife and I decided to visit our favorite establishment, Buffalo Wild Wings in Gadsden, and sit in our preferred spot. Normally, we visit in the evening and take a walk afterwards. However, on this particular afternoon, I was treated poorly by both the waiter and the bartender, which left me baffled and shocked. Typically, when I arrive, I place an order to go, and my wife and I sit on a bench outside after walking on the bridge. We rarely dine in at Buffalo Wild Wings, instead opting for take-out. This time, I wanted to dine in and treat my wife, who works long hours for the county, to a pleasant meal on her day off. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we had.
I waited patiently as I observed one of the workers attending to another table, obtaining drinks for them. Shortly thereafter, a lady walked by, and I inquired if she was employed at the establishment. She responded affirmatively, albeit with a notable degree of rudeness, which somewhat took me aback. Undeterred, I proceeded to ask whether I needed to place my order inside the store or if someone would be attending to us while we were seated outside. Her response was that we could simply sit outside and wait, conveyed once again in a rather rude manner. Throughout this interaction, I observed the bartender standing with one hand in her pants literally in her pants, wearing an unpleasant expression, seemingly put off by my inquiries. Subsequently, I returned to the table, where I had two menus in hand, preparing to take a seat. However, I noticed that someone had been smoking in the area, leaving ashes scattered all over the table, rendering it filthy. Consequently, I approached the bartender once more, requesting a damp rag to clean the table. Her reaction was marked by an unacceptable display of attitude, as she literally jumped up, behaving rudely, and muttering incoherently. This prompted me to declare that I had had enough, and I informed my wife that we would be leaving, as I had been treated poorly by both the bartender and the waitress. Upon departing, I contacted the store and spoke with a gentleman named Ethan, and subsequently, I reached out to the corporate office to file a formal report. I am truly sorry to have experienced such treatment, and I firmly believe that customers should not be subjected to such behavior. The actions of these two employees were utterly unprofessional, and I sincerely hope that upper management, including the owner, general manager, or relevant authorities, will take swift and decisive action. I respectfully request that they review the security footage, which should provide a clear record of how I was treated, ideally with audio to corroborate my account.
