It all started when I was 5 years old, my Dad tapped a couple of trees by the house. I helped collect the sap and he boiled it down in the kitchen. Yes we made some Maple syrup but all wasn't good; the wall paper slid down the walls and Dad got you know what from Mom. My Grandfather had about 5000 taps out in the early 1900's. I partnered with Jake in 2007. We have grown from about 200 taps then to over 3600 taps now.
