Brody Brothers is the BEST pest control company!! I had issues with mice for years and within months of using their service, have had no issues.
Shoutout to our regular technician, Justin, who has gone above and beyond to identify areas that mice could access our row home, and thoroughly seal up the spots. I can enjoy my house again without the anxiety of seeing a mouse scurry across the kitchen or living room floor.
If you’re having issues with mice, call them ASAP!!! The price comparison (I get quarterly services) and communication of the company beats my past one hands down.

There were two issues we had at our house, 1.wasps nest attached to the underside of our gutter and 2. Mice. The first technician arrived, assessed the situation and removed the nest, made a note of the travel pattern of the mice. A contract was entered into between myself and Brody Brothers. A week after initial visit, the second technician arrived to place the bait traps, and two weeks later the third technician arrived to check the bait placements to determine if there was activity. Throughout the entire process, I was updated on what to expect and the ongoing follow up. The customer service so far has been great, and the technicians have been outstanding.
Frequently Asked Questions About Brody Brothers Pest Control in Anne Arundel County
What is your pest treatment approach?
We conduct an inspection, assessment and design a targeted plan based on our IPM – Integrated Pest Management approach. IPM uses current pest control methods to eliminate pests with the lowest possible hazard to people, your property and the environment.
The treatment we suggest would depend on many factors, such as your location, the pest’s habits and lifecycle, time of the year, as well as any unique circumstances. We offer tailored solutions to each customer and apply the least toxic, yet effective treatments first. The safety of your family, children and pets is our #1 priority.
What is our success rate on pest treatment?
Brody Brothers Pest Control has been family-owned and operated for more than 30 years with experience you can count on. Your pest issues will be well taken care of.
We have the right products and services to fit all your home or business needs. If you are looking for a reliable pest management company to help keep pests away year around, take a look at our home protection plan.
What specific pesticides will you apply and are they safe?
We use the most effective and least toxic products that will solve your pest problem. We have a variety of materials in our arsenal, including natural and reduced-risk products, but there is no single, universal product that we use – it all depends on the pest and other circumstances.
It’s important to note that there is no pesticide that is non-toxic. If there was, it wouldn’t kill any pest. However, we do our best to minimize your exposure to toxins and indoor air pollution, while doing our job effectively.
Will my family need to leave the house during pest treatment?
On rare occasions and only with certain pests (e.g. fleas), could there be a need for family members to leave the home. In most situations, you can stay.
What does a pest control tech look for when inspecting my home?
Everything. When we perform an inspection, we are not just looking for pests but also for the places where they live and feed. For a successful treatment it’s important to identify any conditions that would support or attract a pest.
Some of the indoor areas we might inspect include underneath dishwashers, behind stoves, unfinished parts of the home like crawl spaces, attics, basements, garages and any other areas of concern.
While inspecting the exterior perimeter of your home, we specifically look for pest entry points that we can seal up. We also inspect secondary areas like sheds, pools, mulch beds, playsets, mailboxes or any other area that could be a problem.
*Does a tech need to treat the inside and outside of my home on every quarterly pest visit?
Generally no. We perform quarterly service to help prevent pests that might be tempted to enter your home due to seasonal weather changes in Maryland. This helps us stop the pest infestation before the issue gets worse.
We recommend that the interior is checked once a year for any pests, especially termites. This service is usually performed in the winter months when pest pressure is low outside and it gives our technician time to take a good look at the interior of your home.
We understand that each home is different, and we’ll be happy to tailor a plan to better meet your needs.
*Only for customers on our Home Protection Plan
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, we are fully licensed, bonded and insured. All of our technicians are licensed by the State of Maryland and Quality Pro certified.
All have had a criminal background check and ongoing drug tests are performed. They have gone through a full-time, 2-month training program and continue to receive an ongoing training, complete with bi-weekly testing.
Most importantly, our technicians are people who care about others and are pleasant to deal with. Are you on Angie’s List? Brody Brothers has been awarded Angie’s List Super Service Award 9 different times!

What areas do you service?
We service the central Maryland region, including Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Harford County, Carroll County, and Howard County, and the communities in which we operate include – but are not limited to – Pikesville, Baltimore, Roland Park, Towson, Owings Mills, Lutherville Timonium, Cockeysville, Reisterstown, Sykesville, Catonsville, Ellicott City, Marriottsville, Woodstock, Columbia, Clarksville, Highland, Phoenix, Fulton, and Westminster.
Does your treatment work?
We guarantee that you will experience a huge reduction in the mosquito and/or tick populations on your property (85-90 percent) if you use our services. If a seasonal contract holder has a mosquito or tick problem between his/her regularly scheduled treatment service, we will come out to take care of it.
Does post-treatment rain have negative effects?
Our formula dries within about 30 minutes after deployment and binds to surfaces, making it hard to be washed away. Furthermore, the targeted areas are the undersides of leaves. Both of these facts make it hard for rain to be a significant problem in reducing treatment effectiveness.
What if I treat, but my neighbor doesn’t?
While it is true that mosquitoes are not held back by fences, our treatment creates a virtual barrier that strongly discourages mosquitoes from entering. Given that mosquitoes are poor fliers, if they do enter, they are likely to rest on a shrub along the outskirts of your property and die shortly after landing to rest or feed on plant glucose.
What types of chemicals do you employ?
We use both natural and synthetic products, all of which are registered with the EPA.
Can my kids and pets be outside during treatment?
For our synthetic formulas, children and pets should be kept out of the yard for about 30 minutes after treatment. Although the official instructions for our natural treatment allow for children and pets to be outside during deployment, we recommend keeping them inside until about 30 minutes afterward as well.
Will your treatment harm my garden and plants?
Our treatment will not harm your landscaping plants. In general, we try to avoid spraying any edible garden vegetables. That said, SWAT Team treatment employs products often used in commercial agriculture. Just as it is widely recommended to properly wash produce that was grown commercially and purchased from a grocery store, so too we recommend that you properly wash your garden vegetables before consumption.
Are you licensed?
Yes. We have obtained all legally required licenses, and we are insured.
When will I know you’re coming?
We will remind you at least 24 hours before your previously scheduled treatment. If you need to reschedule for any reason but forget to do so prior to our email or call, let us know at this point.
Do I need to be home during the treatment(s)?
No, you don’t have to be home. We will simply leave you a notice informing you that we have completed your scheduled service.
Do I need to schedule your service every 21 days?
Once you have established a contract with us, there is no need to continuously schedule our service every 21 days. We will send you an email to notify you of when we will come to administer your treatment, and we will leave a notice on your door afterward (if you are not at home at the time).
