  The clinic staff is very friendly and welcoming. The doctor was professional and knowledgeable. My dog was in need of OFA certification and all was taken care of with ease. They did a great job with my dog.

  Burned my cat due to a malfunctioning heating pad during surgery. The biggest issue is they didn't tell me it happened even though I called to ask why my cat was licking her stomach so obsessively after a dental procedure and to see if there was anything that could be done about it. Brought the cat in the following week as she had licked all of her hair off in four large areas on her stomach and it looked infected. I was then told that they burned her and that I would have to purchase treatment cream from them to apply to the burns. We won't be back as they should have called all of the owners of the animals who had been exposed to the malfunctioning equipment as soon as they knew about it to rectify the situation, and at least offer to pay for the medicine to fix their mistake.

  We've been spinning our wheels since our main vet we were going to for over 10 years died last year. So far, it's been a positive experience to come to Brainerd Animal Hospital. I like both Dr. Dutton and Dr. Melzer. I feel that they can provide the care that my cats need. Christy is very helpful as well. The staff are great as well, including George.
