I’ve taken my puppy here 3x and for the most part I have had good experiences. I have been pleased with how my golden doodle was groomed. The very first visit was the BEST! I wish I could remember the woman who groomed him. She did a fantastic job and my puppy clearly felt comfortable with her because the next two visits I was changed a handling fee because he was “feisty”. I didn’t like that I wasn’t informed of the handling fee when they called to ask questions about what I wanted, but when he picked him up. I was also charged another fee my last visit and it was not communicated to as to what the fee was for. Maybe I can find out who cut him his first visit and request that person.

lovely has been our groomer since we got our dogs and their work has always pleased us! they take care of both of our crazy puppies at the same time which has been a rollercoaster, but they've really helped our pups progress with their behavior while being groomed. this place has been nothing but nice to my partner and i, i would highly recommend bringing your dog here and asking for lovely!!

Save yourself and run far, far away from this place, don’t get SCAMMED like I did. We’ve been here twice now… the first time was around 2 years ago, they left shampoo/conditioner on my dog so long she turned PURPLE. My wife and I just had twins and our time is really limited so being this establishment is only three miles from our house we decided to give it one more try and we wholeheartedly regret it. My wife made an apt over the phone, $85 for a bath and deshedding. However upon picking our dog up, they charged me over $200 due to supposed matting services we never asked for nor were we notified about. If you’re going to up charge someone nearly 2.5 times the original quote, you’d think you’d call and notify someone but it seems this is how they operate to take in more revenue. Before the owner or manager comes here talking about policy this and that, there was no one working the front desk the day of 6/30/25 so we didn’t receive any information on your “matted release policy” or “policy agreement” or anything else. No information or communication, just downright shady business practices. Also they send out threatening texts saying they’re going to charge you even more if your dog isn’t picked up in an hour from completion time, but they don’t even give you an ETA so they want you to drop everything and hurry over. The funny thing is I did that, but then had to wait over 30 mins in the lobby for someone to FINALLY bring me my dog. There is a reason all the recent reviews are 1 star, terrible and deceptive business that will scam you. I already reported to BBB, no doubt it’s not there first time they’ve been turned over. Please don’t get scammed like we did.

I have taken my dog (golden retriever) to both locations several times with no issues. I had an appointment last Saturday at Buford late morning - I received two calls by 8am (I was still sleeping) telling me that my groomer was sick and that they were cancelling my appointment. There was no apology, offer of a rescheduled date, or any discount offered. If I, as the customer, would have cancelled with that short window because I was sick, there would have been a cancellation fee. I then get a text from the salon stating that another groomer was sick (not mine). I clarified that she was not who my appointment was scheduled with, only to be told that the groomer I had scheduled (Tracie) was in fact NOT sick, but that she could not be alone with my dog because he is dangerous because of his size. There have been ZERO complaints of my dog at any point prior and they could not tell me any reason why my dog was "dangerous." I ask for a member of management to call me to discuss. I was told there was no manager working, but that I would be contacted on Monday by the Waterford manager. I find out that this salon has called my emergency contact several times as well to alert her of the cancellation and they offered her a rescheduled date and time (but not me, the owner). I shortly thereafter got a call from Virginia stating she is the manager of the Buford location and that it was company policy that the dogs over a certain size could not be in the salon alone with the groomer. Yet, she was at the salon. She the says if I just needed his nails cut, that I could come in and wait in the lobby and they could perform that service. I then get a text from the salon that said "just bring him in I will do my best." That is not the kind of effort I am looking for when I am paying this kind of money for a grooming (not even a haircut). Moments later, I am told that a family dog passed away the night prior, so I call Virginia back to tell her and she states "okay" in response. Fast forward, the Waterford manager did not call me on Monday or on Tuesday. I called Waterford today and now the manager is apparently out until next Monday. I then asked for the owner and was told that the owner "does not deal with clients" - oh, so dealing with clients? Not speaking with them or addressing concerns? Wow. I called them out for that verbiage as well, but still not able to speak to a manager or get any sort of remedy for my situation. I will most certainly never take my dog there again and would not recommend you do either - $85+ for a bath/brush, only to be a customer to be "dealt" with and are told "okay" with you share that another dog died. Customer service may be the worst I've seen in a while for somewhere I truly have trusted with my precious pup.
