- ACAaron CameronOct 16, 20251.0The worst bowling alley in the Birmingham area. Most of the staff are great, them & the friends I made on league night were the only reason I bowled there. For some reason they cant figure out how to oil the lanes so it will be like bowling on concrete most nights. After about two years of bowling here 2 or 3 times a week(with zero instances), I was banned for stopping a drunk, irate man from punching a senior citizen. This guy has had many issues, been banned before & was loudly cussing out & flipping off women and older men for over an hour. I feel I did what needed to be done to diffuse the situation & stop a much larger, much younger man from punching a man over 60 years old & only had to step in because staff let a drunk continue unrestrained from cussing and attempting to injure weaker/defenseless customers for over an hour. I pushed him as he was in the process of swinging, he got up uninjured & that was pretty much the end of it. Four days after this I bowled up there in another league, bought a Pepsi from the manager, & nothing was said to me about it. I dropped another $100 on my league dues and then got a letter in the mail the next day stating I have been banned from all Lucky Strike facilities. I tried to contact corporate to explain the situation & provide witnesses but they just sent a canned response and wouldn’t discuss with me. I have zero problem being banned & would handle the situation exactly the same if I could go back in time, but think it’s cowardly that the manager didn’t just tell me when I walked in four days later.
