  I called several iron and fire escape companies to inspect our fire escape on a multi family complex which was starting to rust. I was very impressed by Alyton’s level of professionalism and quality of work done. First of all, he was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I felt Alyton has a high degree of integrity. He had a good handle on his schedule and it was very straightforward. Work started and finished as mentioned. We ended up having the rust scraped off, with new black paint applied, and several of the worn bolts replaced. Our management company who deals with tons of contractors even commented how easy they are to work with. We don’t feel we would have gotten this same level of professionalism and quality from the other companies. We will definitely be reaching out to Alyton and his team again for any fire escape or iron railing or fence related work.

  We worked with Boston Iron Group and Aylton for a handrail for our front steps. They were fantastic to work with and helped me select a perfect railing in my price range. Their work was excellent and months later it’s still looking great!

  I've worked with a lot of contractors and Aylston and Boston Iron Group are among the most professional and responsive. Aylston always kept us informed and clearly took a personal interest in making sure the job was done right. As he said to me "If the client is not happy, we don't have any work."

  Aylton is wonderful. We needed first a very simple railing constructed and installed for our rear garden steps. The scheduling was easy: he came, he looked, he quoted. Frankly, he had the railing in before all but one other company had even responded to my inquiry. During that process, we requested an estimate for a far more elaborate railing for our front stairs: spindles, scrollwork, and a spiral at the end. It wasn't a standard length or incline, extending at top and bottom beyond the stairs themselves. The workmanship is beautiful. The installation (in both cases drilling into new stonework) was a joy to watch. He and his assistant were meticulous in their work, efficient and precise. Communications throughout were excellent. Pricing was fair. Speed was amazing. The final results were exactly what we requested.

  My 5 stars were based on several factors, some of which are: a) Aylton was very responsive to my call, scheduling an appointment at my desired date and time. b) He provided a range of design options with a range of prices, simplifying the selection of our railing c) At my request, he provided references where I could go to actually see and review his work d) Before final agreement, was very amenable to answer several of my questions by phone/email to explain and upgrade some details of the selected design e) I was very pleased with the quality of the railing, when I saw it before installation f) He and his team did an excellent job installing the railing and left the steps in a thoroughly cleaned up state, when they departed I recommend Aylton Silva for your railing needs.
