  I really enjoyed talking to Nathan and he hooked me up with a day’s worth of snorkel gear that worked perfectly for me. Also, he recommended a better place to snorkel than where I was planning to go. And he was right. His video that he shot the day before of a sea turtle was just gorgeous. I hadn’t snorkeled in 25 years, so it was nice to see that I could still manage to breathe and float. Highly recommend Nathan and Boss Frog’s at Poipu.

  Great experience. Best snorkel & mask set up. No fog or leaking issues, snorkel very comfortable. Customer service was excellent. Sawyer took his time and explained how the equipment worked and how it should fit. We will be coming back next year. Thanks again Sawyer.

  My husband and I came here to rent bikes to ride along the Kauai coast and had a fantastic experience—the bikes were provided with locks, they had a bike basket and optional helmets, and the whole process was easy and reasonably priced. When we returned the bikes, we noticed they also rented surfboards. The next day we came back to return the bikes and talked with the same guy, Thomas, who helped us initially. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and honest. Thomas shared his own first-time surfing story, explained the risks for beginners, and walked us through our options clearly. While he was happy to rent us surfboards if we chose, he strongly recommended that as first-timers we either take a lesson or try boogie boarding instead. We really appreciated his thoughtful guidance—it never felt pushy, just genuine and caring. We ended up taking his advice and rented boogie boards. At the exact beach he suggested, we immediately understood what he meant about the power of the waves. Thanks to Thomas’ recommendation, we had the time of our lives out there and agreed it was one of the highlights of our entire vacation. We also felt safe and confident knowing we’d made the right choice. We’re so grateful to Thomas and can’t recommend this shop highly enough—for the equipment, the experience, and especially the outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Kauai!

  Stopped with in with our party of 4 some of whom have never snorkel. Kurt was awesome very helpful. Took his time to make sure everyone had the right gear. Gave great advice on different snorkeling spots around the island. It’s the best experience I ever had renting gear.

  Our second visit to Kauai and adventure in snorkeling, both times we rented gear from Boss Frog's.. this year Nathan was our very friendly and engaging helper and he provided so much useful information.. Thank you, Nathan!
