I have a cat. Last week went for blood work, Chloe was a nurse. My cat was limping after that blood work for 2 days, but first blood work was okay. Dr Fridman is very nice, thank you doctor! Nice place, but expensive, nurse visit 60$, blood work, only thyroid level 180.

I’ve been to BondVet before with my puppy, but recently I had to bring our 14 year old senior family dog, Yogi, to be euthanized after a major decline in his health. I want to thank the staff from the bottom of my heart for the way they treated us during one of the saddest days of our lives.
From the receptionist to the assistants to the doctors, every single person showed us kindness, grace, and compassion. They took the time to explain everything clearly, walked us through the process with patience, and most importantly, never made us feel rushed. They gave us the time we needed to say goodbye, and that meant the world to us.
You never forget kindness when you’re in your toughest moments, and the team here made an unbearable day feel just a little lighter. Everything went as smoothly as it possibly could have, even better than I expected, and I’m eternally grateful for the care they showed to both Yogi and my family.
I can only imagine being a veterinarian is not an easy job, and I truly admire and appreciate the compassion they bring to it every day. If you’re looking for a sign to bring your pet here whether it’s for general care or end-of-life care please do it. You are in such good hands. Thank you, BondVet, for helping us through such a difficult goodbye with dignity and love.

Such a fantastic experience taking my mini poodle Maddy to Bond vet! My husband and I took her in due to cutting one of her nails really short and it was still bleeding after an hour. We came in as a walk in and the nurse was quick to take Maddy to be seen. The vet Dr. Ordonez explained what was applied to Maddy’s nail to stop the bleeding and the after care instructions. She made us feel at ease and recommended a powder in case it ever happens in the future. They cut her nails too. Jo the care coordinator sent me the picture of the powder we can get on amazon. All the staff were professional, friendly, and explained everything. Also, We really appreciated Dr. Ordonez waived the fee for the visit and cutting of the nails because it was such a quick short visit. So thankful we found bond vet on such short notice! We highly recommend Bond vet for you pet care!

Frequently Asked Questions About Bond Vet - Edgewater
What does a routine checkup include?
A checkup is a comprehensive nose -to-tail examination by a doctor who will customize a medical plan based on your pet’s needs and answer questions you may have. If our doctor recommends additional treatments or diagnostics, we’ll go over what they are, why they would be beneficial, and how much they cost beforehand.
What is urgent care?
Yes, we take all pet insurances, and our Bond Vet - Edgewater team will be more than happy to help you submit a claim.
Do you offer primary care?
In addition to urgent care, we do offer vaccines, checkups, and all other routine care. We also offer dental cleanings, spays and neuters, and other surgeries.
Do you offer teeth cleanings and dental surgery?
Yes! Our Edgewater clinic has a dedicated dental suite to provide the best dental cleaning experience for your pet. During the cleaning, an oral exam is performed, full-mouth radiographs are taken, teeth are scaled and polished, and we remove calculus from the tooth's surface and under gum lines. We then probe the teeth to measure the pockets that exist under the gum lines. If teeth are very unhealthy, we remove them.
