  Our cat Sherman fell ill unexpectedly this Saturday. A 14 year old American long hair. This took us by surprise and we were fearing the worse. They were able to fit us in and lovingly examined him at the last minute. The staff was thorough, professional and courteous. I would highly recommend their Bay Terrace office to anyone looking to treat their wonderful pets. Unfortunately I have to add that after several phone calls, post visit, the doctor never followed up on what was promised. They were supposed to send a treatment plan and cost summary for our pet so we could finally help Sherman stop suffering. After over a week, we finally gave up and had to make an appointment at another vet. Too bad.

  Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a veterinarian. Dr. Kelly Stanton, the so-called medical director, displayed an alarming lack of professionalism and basic decency. When I voiced a perfectly reasonable frustration — that my pet’s medical records never seem to come up correctly at this location — she twisted my words, accused me of being “rude” and “going at her,” and then abruptly canceled my appointment. This wasn’t care, this was outright disrespect. Instead of addressing the problem, she shut me down, made me feel discriminated against, and left me questioning how someone like this is even allowed to lead a veterinary practice. If you care about your pet and about being treated with dignity, avoid this location at all costs. Dr. Stanton is unfit to be trusted with anyone’s animals, let alone run a clinic.

  Do not recommend in the slightest. The vet we saw seemed to have no idea what she was doing and then slapped us with a $300 bill. What a joke. Looks nice but the service is terrible

  Scheduled appointment online 1st thing in the am for appointment 30 minutes later. Taken on time. Tech Samantha and Dr. Alvarez just great with my dog and the care they gave. Spelled out total cost of treatment ahead of time and gave options for treatment. In and out under an hour. Highly recommend.
