Bond Vet — Astoria is Queens’ modern and convenient veterinary clinic. At Bond Vet, we provide both primary and urgent care, which means we can be your go-to vet for any service. Primary care means annual wellness exams, vaccinations and heartworm treatment, while urgent care is needed for symptoms that require timely medical attention, be it a wound, a rash, diarrhea, coughing, behavioral changes, limping or other non-life-threatening symptoms. We started Bond to modernize the vet care experience — our mission is to strengthen the human-animal bond through better pet care. That’s why we offer a wide range of medical services including annual wellness exams, vaccines, spays, neuters, dental cleanings, mass removals and even specialty orthopedic surgeries — we are qualified and more than happy to be your primary care vet. We know pets and pet parents haven’t always enjoyed visits to the vet, but we want to change that. Our clinic is warm and welcoming, with natural lighting, a treat bar, comfortable furniture, sniffable spaces and hydration stations for pets and people. In the clinics, our team is compassionate, caring, and completely dedicated to providing best-in-class veterinary care to your pet. Bond clients love our technology — we make it easy and seamless to book appointments, access medical records, and communicate with our medical team. Because we know price is a major factor in vet care, we will always offer several paths forward, along with pricing for any diagnostics or next steps. We will never pressure you into more tests and treatments than you’re comfortable doing, and we’ll save you time by helping you file pet insurance claims. We were ready for a new kind of vet experience, and we think you’ll enjoy our approach — bring your pet for routine or urgent care. Bond Vet - Astoria is located at 35-07 30th Ave in Queens, at 36th Street. Book online, call us or walk in — bondvet.com.
They don’t change the tip of thermometer between visits, the tip was dirty and old, I hope my cat doesn’t get an ear infection. They are very pushy, you can tell it’s all about the money. They tried to force me to pay for a blood test which was around $500 saying it’s legally required and I couldn’t leave without it. I had to be firm and say I would only pay for the consult($120).

Sure, I will play along. I don’t care if you know who I am. Here’s the IN OFFICE experience that apparently Yelp requires for a customer to comment on your business, because apparently photos of your employees and business is not enough:
We’ve been customers of BondVet for 2+years with more than one animal. Saw our regular vet there who we love with our dying dog and she told us it wasn’t time yet. Things progressed and a week and $700 later, we call about something that is happening with the dog around 7pm and are told to rush her down. We take her in and our usual vet isn’t there so we see some cold, vacant male vet who tells us it’s time. We make the tough decision, he’s does the deed and it now close to their closing time and I acknowledge it and he leaves us alone to say good by to our baby and tell us to take our time. A few minutes later, he knocks and comes back in and tells us he’s leaving for the day but to please take our time. After he’s gone, the staff outside the door where we are grieving the dog we just watched die in front of us, turn up the music and proceed to laugh and carry on, occasionally knocking on the door to tell us they were closed. We left less than 30 minutes after closing. We should have NEVER returned to BondVet with our new dog, but we really love and trust the regular vet we see there so we swallow the outrageous cost compared to other local vets just to see that one Dr.
What’s proceeded over the last week is shocking. Today my original review was taken down because it apparently did not represent an experience with the location, even tho I provided photo evidence. I will include the original review at the end and include more evidence. I will be sure to add it to my Google review as well since you don’t seem to want to take accountability.
What’s mind blowing in the year 2025 about a tech bro veterinarian start up business, is how poorly you’re using your digital tools. BondVet knows they can respond to customers on here, because they do, but have yet to even attempt to respond or reach out. Absolutely insane experience. Someone at the top over there should get their people together before this becomes more of PR nightmare than it has to. Your team is not on the same page. You have employees reaching out to me on social media speaking for your company and agreeing with me that this was inappropriate. I attempted to speak to your customer service about it, and was dismissed. I attempted to speak to your social media team about and was blocked. You do realize that only blocks me from YOUR page and posts right? My comments are still visible on all of your affiliate post. You thought it was inappropriate as well, that’s why the next business day he took down the photos. That was not of his own doing. He’s the one who posted them originally and shamelessly on a free publicly available app with his full face in uniform standing in your business next to his marker as a “bottom” (a fully sexual term) while holding other people’s dogs. These were not photos sent to me personally, but rather posted on a public forum for the world to see. It is and was always irrelevant whether or not THOSE dogs are mine. BondVet is actively trying to silence legitimate concerns. It’s not a defense of the employee- that’s why you had him take them down.

Super friendly staff that goes above and beyond to explain procedures, answer any questions, and make you and your fur baby feel comfortable. My cat has gone for routine vaccinations and a dental procedure—only ever had great experiences!

Felt nickel-and-dimed at every step of the way. The most egregious example was being charged $42 for my cats nail clipping when she was under anesthesia.
