  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at Fantasy Island 2 in Daytona Beach has been absolutely spectacular! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — they’re incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive. We were greeted with free donuts, and throughout our stay they provided all grilling supplies, toiletries and hygiene items, and even 100% cotton linens — the kind of comfort and care you rarely find these days. The property is spotless, cozy, and perfectly located for a relaxing beach getaway. You can truly feel how much pride and heart goes into every detail here. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommend Fantasy Island 2 to anyone visiting Daytona Beach! 🌴☀️💛

  Our first visit to this location. Daytona Beach is only a one hour drive from home so its a nice drive getting there. Check in was flawless. There's no on-site restaurant but coffee service is available in the lobby. We had booked a one bedroom partial ocean view and were impressed with the view. The room is on the south side which is perfect this time of year since its not blasted by the early morning or afternoon sun. The room has a kitchenette which helps if you want to reign in your meal costs. Overall the room is clean albeit the layout is a bit hokey. Our balcony patio was larger than others along the side of the hotel making it all the more enjoyable. There are sufficient outlets in all of the rooms yet due to the odd angles in the bedroom there's only enough room for one nightstand. Beach access is through the pool area. This access isn't well laid out, especially when people not staying at the hotel have their vehicles in the way washing off their beach chairs. These aforementioned items and the small parking lot are the only reason for four stars. Otherwise, the staff and stay were great. Enjoy!

  I have been staying at this resort for 30 plus years, and within the last 5 years, they have become ridiculous with their RULES AND REGULATIONS. They locked the gate to and from the beach and pool area at 8:30pm, leaving us no access. We had to go through the public park (which can be scary when the sun goes down) beside the condo to get to our rooms from the beach. My teenage girls, who were still on the beach, also had to walk through the public park alone to get to the condo; it was a very unsafe situation. We came back from dinner and the kids wanted to swim a little, but no swimming after 8:30. If there was a storm anywhere near the condo, they would kick you out of the pool area and lock the gate to and from the beach and pool not allowing us access until the storm (2 miles out in the ocean) dissipated even though the lifeguards were still on their towers at the beach. We were all standing on our balconies watching the storm pass, like we were in prison. We were trying to grill out one evening by the pool and they told us we had to hurry so they could lock the gate. We complained, management told us "they had to lock everything up because it was code" not true at all. Some friends of ours who were staying at Fantasy Island 1 and The Renaissance next door, were able to enjoy the pool, hot tub and beach access after 8:30. We were able to join them at their resorts after 8:30 which made the vacation a little better. If you want a fun, relaxing vacation, with the freedom to enjoy the facilities, I would not recommend this resort.
