    Visiting from out of town and came across this place on the map and decided to try it out! Food - Crab Rangoon: very little filling on the inside but the sauce was a sweet and spicy mix that was a good complement for the wonton skin to dip into. - Tidal Wave: a flavorful roll the eel sauce tied everything together really well. - Ceviche: Was plated very nicely and it felt like each bite was very fresh. There was a lot more dip than chips so each bite was very filling. - Hawaiian Roll: a sweet and savory roll with a mango sauce, a very different taste compared to the tidal wave. A more fresh and tropical twist with the mango pieces in the roll. Service - Everyone was really nice and attentive. When we first walked in, we were greeted right away and there was very little wait from placing the order to getting the food on the table. Our server was very friendly and made sure to check up on us and our food. Atmosphere - Overall the place was amazingly decorated and had its own vibes to it. The windows gave a nice view of Old Market, especially those who are visiting out of town. I think some patrons could have been spaced out more throughout the restaurant since there was a lot more seating available.

    We enjoyed four different platters of sushi rolls, raw and cooked. The portions were perfect, the food was amazing, and the happy hour pricing can't be beat. Our server, Carly, really took care of us and even suggested one of her favorites for our last platter, the Cloud 9.

    Blue is one of the places on my very short list of “safe spots to eat” due to my allergies and dietary restrictions. Our server at the downtown location, Margaret, was very knowledgeable about allergies and cross contamination. I felt so seen and heard and not rushed with the questions I had about ingredients. She truly made our experience dining out a solid 10/10. Everything was phenomenal as always and I had no bad reactions. Having a clearly marked menu and trained staff makes a huge impact and we can’t wait to order from Blue again!

    Someone give Mel at Blue Sushi Old Market a raise, a trophy, and maybe her own holiday. I called with a question about my GrubHub order, & she went above and beyond to help me out. She single-handedly made my whole day! In a world where great customer service feels rare, Mel reminded me that kindness still exists. Forever loyal to the best! Thanks, Mel!

    I put in a $140 door dash order today. The driver showed up with 1 -$12 roll. I was super upset and I know door dash doesn't help you get your food, just refunds you. So I called Blue and got a manager. He was very understanding and offered to bring me a whole new order himself! That is beyond service. Amazing character and showing they care about their customers. I've always loved Blue but today sealed the deal it will always be my go to!
