Very unpleasant lunch. Music too loud and was not reduced when requested. Asked for seating where it was quieter to no avail. Food came way too fast, felt rushed. Will never dine here again.

Oh boy… I just got 4 things to go from here, cost me 40 bucks and I am UNSATISFIED.
INARI - tasted horrible and fishy. How? Its sweet tofu, I can make this MUCH better at home. And how did you make it dry!?
MADAI - looked lackluster, tasted mid
SPICY SAKE - ok but nothing special but my stomach hurts after eating it 🙃
MANGO CRAB RANGOONS - hardy any crab within the rangoon, waste of money and taste like panda express rangoons.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Life’s too expensive now a days. Go somewhere else!
Blue Sushi Grill has always been my go-to spot in Austin from the last 3 years, and I usually look forward to dining here. However, my most recent visit left me disappointed. The sushi I was served was so hot that it literally burnt my tongue and lips. I mentioned this to the waitress, and while she did apologize, nothing else was done to address the situation. For a place I’ve always enjoyed and trusted, I expected more care and attentiveness, especially when it comes to customer safety and comfort. I hope the team takes this feedback seriously because I’d love to continue coming back, but this experience was not what I’ve come to expect.
I love the food here. I love the different varieties they have on the vegan sushi menu.
I’m vegetarian and they seem to have lot of good vegan options & they are very tasty too. I tried shiitake mushroom rolls, spicy crunch roll. Both are awesome !
I loved their miso soup ( vegan version again). Very tasty indeed.
Overall I recommend this restaurant. Usually it’s pretty busy & ambience is great.

As a vegan, I’m always on the lookout for restaurants where I can go with meat eating friends and still have a great meal. The food is delicious and there are a number of appetizers and rolls that are vegan. Some menu standouts are the cucumber salad, Brussels sprouts appetizer, crunchy cabbage roll and cowgirl roll. Cocktails are also delicious and beautifully crafted. The sangria spritz is a definite standout!
In contrast, the service leaves something to be desired. While food is brought quickly, they always seem short staffed and therefore hurried. While no one has directly been rude to us, this restaurant falls short of the experience in nearby similarly tiered restaurants at the Domain.
Finally, we do love the ambiance. It is cozy with excellent ambient lighting. The booths are comfortable in the main dining room and I love the lanterns overhead. There are other areas - an enclosed terrace as well as bar seating where they have TV’s.
