Such a great night at Blue Sushi in Indianapolis!
Also, a big thanks to Adam, the manager. He checked in to make sure we were happy and you could tell he truly cares about his guests and his team. It’s rare to see that kind of genuine hospitality these days.
The food was incredible — everything fresh and full of flavor — but what really stood out was the service. Calista, the bartender, was outstanding! She had the best recommendations and made us feel so welcome. Her cocktails were spot-on and came out fast, even with how busy it was.
From start to finish, everything was fantastic. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed — perfect for a night out. I especially want to give a huge shoutout to Calista, our bartender, who was absolutely amazing. She was warm, attentive, and made some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time — truly the kind of service that makes you want to come back.
Adam, the manager, also went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. He checked in personally and you could tell he genuinely cared about every guest having a great time.
Between the exceptional service, delicious sushi, and fun energy, Blue Sushi is definitely one of my new favorite spots in Indy. Can’t wait to go back!

First time in at Blue Sushi and I was seriously impressed! The vibe was great, and right off the bat, the GM (Adam) sent some complimentary shishito peppers to our table—super thoughtful and such a nice welcome.
Our server, Zion, was awesome. Super friendly and full of great suggestions—we tried a few things we wouldn’t have picked on our own and loved them all.
Favorite roll of the night had to be the Lion King—SO good. Definitely coming back to try more soon!

My boyfriend and I LOVE the sushi here. We have been to the OH location many times when we lived there and everything was amazing. But this location has the worst service of any restaurant I’ve ever been too. I’ve been during lunch time with 1-2 other tables and my server forgot to put in our order until we had to ask. Many long wait times for food everytime I’ve been to this Ironworks location. Tonight October 12 we decided to come for the all day happy hour. We sat down and it took 10 minutes for our server to greet us once she did we ordered drinks and crab rangoons. She dropped our drinks off and then we didn’t see her for 30 minutes until we went to the host stand to ask where she was because she wanted to order our meal. I understand restaurants get busy and I have once worked in a restaurant so I understand. This server who never told us her name was then on top of it after such long wait times but we were beyond frustrated because every other table surrounding us was getting great service and getting their meals even when they got seated around the same time as us. I do love this restaurant but the service has got to get better. You will lose business and many people know don’t go there due to the service being horrible. Again - great sushi but work on your service!!!!!!!

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday here last weekend and had the most amazing experience. I’ve had takeout from this place once before while visiting Indy but this was my first time eating there in person and I was not disappointed! This is the only place I like “sushi” from because they have vegan options that aren’t just plain tofu or cucumber. As someone who has never liked/eaten ANY seafood I was really excited to get to try something closer to real sushi.
On top of that our server Kei was absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable of the menu and both the vegan and regular sushi. She made suggestions, showed us her faves and brought me a little birthday treat! I haven’t had a roll I didn’t like but I loved the vegan bbq eel tempura. She for sure made our lunch special. Cocktails were also wonderful although as a Texan I do not recommend the “tajin” 😂😂😂I will definitely be eating here every time I’m in Indy and I hope all the same wonderful staff is there be because from host to manager every person we interacted with was lovely
