The prices were really cheap, but the fish tasted fishy and the rice portions were way too big. If they reduced the amount of rice, you could enjoy more variety.
Also, they don’t give chopsticks — only a small wooden fork, so the sushi kept falling apart. I had to eat with my hands. Even when I asked for napkins, they only gave me one (and it was super thin).
The staff kept watching us the whole time, which felt uncomfortable.
If you go, bring your own chopsticks and napkins. It’s fun to try once, but I wouldn’t go back again.

I decided to stop by after seeing they offered $1 sushi balls, which sounded great. Their menu also listed lattes with boba, but when I asked about it, I was told they don’t actually serve boba — which was disappointing and misleading.
I ordered three sushi balls, but they were mostly rice with very little topping, and one even had a rubbery texture. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed and won’t be returning.

This is a cute little eatery. It's really a take out place as there are only a few chairs to sit. The sushi is good, tastes nice and is good value. I have tried most things on the menu and I enjoyed them all. The $2 pocket things are fine, but the sushi balls are better.

Maybe I went on a bad day or something... But I did not have a great experience here. I only worried through sushi balls but it took a good 15 to 20 minutes for my food to come. Which honestly still isn't a problem because I love the fact that each sushi ball is only a dollar. But then when I got my order it was not correct.. yeah I was hungry so I just decided to eat it and then I had the mango lemon sushi and almost threw up. The choice to add birthday cake sprinkles was just not a good choice to me. It was way too sweet and the textures were just all over the place. My other two sushi balls were just okay, but again I think the textures were just not right.

Me and my girlfriend we're excited to try this place out and doubled down on buying nearly every sushi ball. We walked out with nearly 40 sushi balls and enjoyed MOST of them. Some had wasabi which we aren't a fan of but our fault for not checking.
Regardless they were actually really good and I would argue they compete with regular quality sushi. I was more than satisfied and felt like I dined in at a good sushi place but only payed half the cost. Their rose lemonade was also great and I'll definitely come back and buy again.
I feel like I should also mention since the place has a lot of 1 star reviews on wait time. I waited like 15 min and it wasn't packed at all. Im assuming its because they went viral on the internet and everyone wants to go for the grand opening. The same can be said about everything that goes viral (Harry Potter store Grand opening, Popmart Woodfield Mall, 7 brew, etc). So I think the traffic mellowed out as the hype went down. So probably a good time to check them out now.
