Great experience again with Blind & Sons. From scheduling the appointment a few weeks in advance to signing off on the work and paying for it when the job was done, Blind &Sons is the gold standard. As a bonus we got their technician Isaiah back, it’s nice having someone familiar with our home and systems.

I had a very good experience with technician Jared Kinel. I had inquired about my water softener not working.
Jared arrived on time and went right to work diagnosing the problem. While he was unable to offer an immediate solution, after performing additional tests and adjustments he determined that the water softener is indeed working now. I appreciate that he was able to provide a hands on solution, potentially saving me hundreds of dollars. Thanks, Jared!

I’ll start off by saying James P. and Isaiah H. have been incredible throughout what’s been a less than desirable experience as a homeowner (water damage!). James came in with diagnostic power and was upfront with what was wrong with my dated tub/shower. He’s been the most helpful and honest through it all. Isaiah came out to the home just today and went above and beyond with repairs with not only the tub/fixtures but also a gas leak that he’d found in my basement! Blind & Sons, these guys deserve a huge pat on the back because they are both faces you’d want at the forefront of the company. Thanks again, guys!
Austin from Blind & Sons truly impressed me with his amicable, trustworthy, and service-oriented disposition, his knowledge of his trade, and the care and skill with which he implemented the solutions that we decided upon together. He takes ownership of his work, and uses only the methods of best practice to ensure that his work will last for generations to come. When initially consulting with him about the electrical issues that I was having, he was respectful and honest when diagnosing their sources, was considerate of my needs, budget, and concerns when identifying solutions, and involved me in the restoration process while explaining his actions and answering any questions that I had at every step along the way. In every service, he went above and beyond to guarantee my satisfaction with the results and never finished a job without ensuring there was nothing further that I needed assistance with — even after working a ten-hour day in the heat digging trenches and installing equipment. You truly could not ask for a more personable and qualified tradesman to service your home and ensure that your needs are met.
Here is the whole house generator that Blind & Son installed a couple years at my house in Massillon. My yard is sloped and they apparently thought that loose rocks would be a good long term foundation, but it has been shifting downhill as you can see in the photo. When contacting them they wanted to charge us hundreds of dollars to add loose gravel. We informed them that is not a valid solution on a steep hill, and asked for a more permanent foundation like it should have been done originally. The representative said she would call us back the next day. That was weeks ago and we have not heard from them. I do not recommend Blind and Son for a generator installation.
