Hands Down things best grass roots. Community store i have had the pleasure of walking into .... In about 25 cities... owned by a business man...ran with distinction...no frills... A cumulative variety of all things (literally) random hand tools for specialty task.... Automotive tools for specific jobs... The man even had my random request for acoustic strings and plectrums / picks .... This place reminds me of the garage and careers I've tackled.... Very humbled and impressed customer.... & that's no easy feat

Sketchy pawn shop. Full of junk.
This was truly the most offensive and poorest level of service on earth. I made a truck reservation and this location was my only choice.
I had a 530 reservation. Prior to showing up i started the morning by call budget customer service and was told that the location could waive the deposit and only need the amount for reservation.
When i made the reservation it told me $150 deposit but $0 due today for cost of renting truck. I assumed it would charge me on the return of the truck. Either way with conflicting information, and having secured the $150 i showed up at 5:15PM to allow time to work out getting my father to send more money. Well that plan was a waste, the one man working finally got my 5:30 reservation at 5:45 pm. He then tells me i owe in full so tell him i must ask my dad and that i was stepping outside to call.
The sole purpose of me moving is that yesterday I had to move out of my storage units to avoid late fees and penalties. My mother who is 58, has rapid onset dementia and I am giving up my career and life in Atlanta to return to take care of her. My father has been forced to learn and take on the finances and did not have a cell phone until he was 59 yo. I walked my father through downloading and setting up Venmo which he is completely unaware of. Finally my father sends the money at 6:12 as I walk back in the pawn shop hours are until 6:30pm.
When i walk back in the guy working Budget smugly and with great enjoyment told me that the he closed the budget counter at 6pm. He refused to help me get the truck, I had driven 22 miles to get. I was shocked and all the workers were smiling and i heard them making fun when i stepped out. The guy even lingered around working. He made no efforts to step out and inform me he was needing to close or anything just cruely watched and waited to crush my spirit.
Without a truck, I can not be out as I had needed to be, now I will owe $218 rent for my storage, $30 in late fees, and am locked out of my units. The truck corporate is trying to get me us too late, having gave up my job, i don’t have the money to pay for either now. I will lose all of my most important belongings including my furniture, my antique china, my cookbooks given by mom, vast majority of my clothing, my high school year bucks, and numerous other items,
I had scraped and fought to get that reservation and now am powerless as my property begins the downward journey to being auctioned. I am leaving atlanta after 12 years with only what fits in my 2 door volkswagen all the rest is out of my reach at this point.
I wish that guy would have realized i waited patiently as he ran late and get he was busy and stressed but he showed no courtesy or the smallest signs of concern even though i was visibly broken and now powerless to save my property.
I hope others don’t get the same treatment. Stay away from this location.
