  I had a great experience with this local family owned company. Mr. Blackshears came out to give me an estimate to rescreen our porch. He thought it could take 2-3 weeks before they could do the job. Turns out they were able to do the job 5 days later. They did a beautiful job on the screen and they cleaned up and put all our furniture back in place. Great company.

  A three-man crew (Joe, Eric and Ed) just pulled away from my driveway leaving behind a beautifully installed garage roll-up screen door and a very satisfied customer. Their work was careful and professional with meticulous attention to detail. This was no surprise to me. I have used Blackshears Aluminum several times in the past 20 years and have come to expect excellence. During the whole process (ordering, measuring, explanations about the product, scheduling and installation), communications with the company was outstanding. All my questions were answered fully and clearly. I highly recommend Blackshears Aluminum.

  Called today to get a quote for a project that I'm working on in Leesburg. Apparently they do not travel to Lake County. This a brand new government building.

  We called Blackshears II Aluminum to come out to give us a free estimate on replacing a screen door and some other rescreening that we needed done. We called them because we knew that they had opened their business in 1977. It is a family-owned and operated business that is in their 3rd generation. You rarely find local family owned businesses like this anymore. Kevin Blackshear came out and listened to what we needed and explained everything well. He was knowledgeable, kind, and professional. He did all of the measurements and answered our questions. He gave a reasonable quote and didn't try to sell us more than we needed. Then Sam promptly scheduled us for later the same week. Sam worked nonstop and did a fantastic job. His work exceeded our expectations. We asked about a window replacement as they do that too. Kevin said they could replace it for us but since the window worked and only the glass was broken--He suggested that it would be less expensive just to have the glass replaced. He recommended a glass company since we didn't know any and they did a great job. He saved us money instead of trying to sell us a window when we didn't need one. Very honest and trustworthy company. Melani at the office provided excellent customer service as well. She was friendly and professional! They rescreened our porch, replaced a screen door in the back of our house, and replaced a broken closure. We are extremely satisfied with the work they did for a price that we could afford. We will definitely hire them again if we need more things done in the future. Highly recommend Blackshears to everyone.

  Howard and Brian of Blackshears Aluminum replaced our pool cage covering and large (7'') rain gutters. They were absolutely top notch professionals, meticulous in their work, kept us informed of what they were doing daily and kept the work area extremely clean. We rate them five stars out of five.
