  My husband and I had dinner at the bistro Mariposa last night. We have been here numerous times and really enjoy the Wednesday Night Social Hour. Perfect amount of food and the prices are great. We would like to compliment Dogukan our server; he was very attentive and sweet and took very good care of us. We'll be back soon.

  We came here for a birthday dinner and I wasn’t expecting much better. The atmosphere was very nice. Live music, wonderful lighting and beautiful furniture and table setup. The food is priced a little higher than average food of the same style but for the price it was very bland. Everything lacked flavor, needed salt and was uninspired. The best part was the pomegranate margarita was the best thing we had tonight. The worst thing was the service. Our waitress was unhappy to have us there, tried to remove several plates of food before we were finished with them and just overall unprofessional. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll ever be coming back here when visiting Blackhawk.

  I had such a great experience dining here! Our server, Saloni, was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive without being overbearing, knew the menu really well, and made great recommendations. Everything came out perfectly timed, and she checked in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. Her friendly smile and warm attitude really added to the whole evening. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while—thank you, Saloni!
