Everything we’ve tried has been fantastic. The poke is fresh and delicious. The sides, corn dogs, and mochi donuts are a fun addition. You can’t go wrong! It’s become a favorite in the neighborhood.

Young lady working at noon today promptly made my large carry out order and had it done early. Very nice person and great service from her.

A trip to Big Island Poke is always a must when looking for a poke experience in St Paul. While there is limited parking outside and table seating inside, the store is very clean, and our service was exceptional, with our chef helping craft the perfect lunch experience. I wasn't traveling alone for the experience: I ordered a build-your-own shrimp & chicken bowl while my coworker ordered the volcano bowl. The flavors and freshness of the ingredients were exceptional, the pricing was very reasonable, and overall an experience worth returning for again and again.

Overall, love this place! I had been here previously about six weeks prior with my family. I love that the restaurant is minority owned and has friendly customer service. The restaurant is clean, bright and sunny with sufficient seating (although it look like at least half their orders were takeout or DoorDash). We got the Big Island bowl which was delicious. I liked how the rice was warm when served (which is a bit different from The Poke House off of Snelling and Randolph Ave). The tuna and salmon tasted great and seemed very fresh. There were lots of options (from avocado to jalapeños to different sauces. The wonton chips were a surprisingly delicious addition for texture, btw (I normally don’t get fried toppings like that). The added bonus? Having mochi donut options right there also. The first time I went, there were only a few donuts left, and they didn’t feel as fresh. This time there were six full shelves of donuts and they were delicious. Two thumbs up from this Asian and will definitely be back. P. S. There is parking right in front and also right on the street in the neighborhood.
