  I come here all the time- whether it's happy hour, brunch, dinner or late night drinks and snacks, Big City is like my Cheers :) the bartenders are like family, and Alex is always on it! He is great at remembering people's favorites - I might be a regular but I do change up my drink orders - and he always gets my taste right - and he's ready with a pretzel in hand when I had a long night. Come by and meet Fort Lauderdale's locals, it's definitely one of the city's best kept "open secrets"!

  Me encantó la experiencia en este restaurante, teníamos una fecha especial para celebrar, y teníamos expectativas del lugar, pero estas fueron superadas tanto por su comida, como por la chica que nos prestó el servicio toda nuestra estancia, su nombre era Jocelyn, algunos de nosotros hablábamos español y ella nos ayudó tanto en inglés como en español, nos recomendó platos y bebidas deliciosas, nos hizo sentir maravillosamente, sin duda alguna volveremos prontoooo

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I visited Big City Tavern on Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale and had an amazing experience. The food was excellent, full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is incredible — every detail is thoughtfully designed, even the bathrooms! The staff was friendly and attentive, making the visit even better. Definitely a must-visit spot for great food and a unique dining experience. 🍽️✨

  Came in for a bite after work and had such a chill, enjoyable time. Jocelyn was awesome, super friendly, fast, and made me feel right at home. The food hit the spot, and the drinks were great too. I had two avocado toasts just because they were THAT good! Such nice weather to eat outside as well, definitely coming back soon!

  The food was great, the server Ember was AMAZING! She perfectly tended to all of our needs and requests and never had us just waiting to be helped. She made everything better! The issue I have is with what I would assume is the manager. I think they were referring to him as Rick. Well, Rick just about made everyones day horrible. Turned a great experience into a bad one. He constantly marched around berating the servers. He would approach tables and begin to just completely belittle the servers in front of us and at one point I thought he would make our server cry just because of the pants she was wearing. Just completely unprofessional in front of customers. I would love to go back but only if RICK IS NOT THERE!!!! EDIT: I find it extremely concerning that you would think I would take time out of my day to write a lengthy review that is untrue instead of taking accountability for the actions of your management. I have no reason to lie about my experience in a restaurant I could care less about. What investigation was even conducted if I was never contacted? It seems to me like Rick has once again flexed his proverbial powers and intimated one of his employees. This is not the first complaint you have recieved about Rick, by NAME. I actually found out his name is Rick Hamilton because of another review about his attitude towards his employees. Was that incident false as well? I would personally like to know what "evidence" it is you could have possibly been looking for if you blatanly ignore a concerning review from a former paying customer. I would actually suggest checking the cameras on 09/28, if they even work, and you tell me if Rick doesn't approach Ember while she is working in a menacingly manner. I would appreciate a response to this as you have been responding already.
