  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR FIRE MONITORING SYSTEMS! This matter pertains to an annual fire alarm inspection performed by Bevan Security Systems Inc. To start off one of their technicians tripped the system while testing it having the local fire station, EMT, and police showing up at my tenants business. I recieved a call at 9:08am from the technician saying the inspection was done and that two batteries needed to be replaced (They started at 9am). It took 8 minutes for this inspection and they charge ($170 per technician per hour in their quote) Then they told me the batteries need to be replaced every 4 years but that they are good for 5 years... Doesn't make sense to me. I then asked if I could replace the batteries myself since they were charging DOUBLE the actual amount the batteries are. I was instructed to call the office where I got the not so pleasant employee Randy to talk to. I simply asked why I was not notified in their quote that our batteries were coming up on 4 years and that they needed to be changed every 4 years. I could have then just ordered them myself and left them for the technician to install during the inspection. Randy laughed at my question. He proceeded to give me an analogy about fixing cars and this situation? I then knew how irrational Randy was gonna be about this entire situation. Long story short Randy was petty and had his technicians go back into the building and take out the new batteries and replace with our old batteries. He said I could replace by buying my own batteries (which were half the price) and snap a picture for him and put in writing that I changed them myself?! The technicians then proceeded to fry my original battery. Randy wasn't laughing when he called me back to tell me this and that he was going to charge me market price for the batteries now. Randy showed poor customer service and communication skills. Overall poor business operations with the entire situation. I hope Randy does better for his future customers. We will not be using this company for our future properties thats for sure!!

  an employee from the riverside NJ branch whose name that starts with a Ro was just plain horrible and unprofessional and seemed inebriated that is something and someone that I would never want around
