Would truly say 4.5 but that isn't an option. Room was clean and well laid out. 2 sinks, NICE!. Breakfast was good. Just a clean room to sleep and wash. Nothing fancy but I don't want to pay for stuff I don't care about.

We recently spent 4 nights at the Best Western Thunderbird. Check in was easy, and the front desk woman was pleasant. We did not eat breakfast here, but my husband did go to get coffee in the morning and said breakfast looked great and the woman helping in the breakfast area was extremely friendly. Our ADA room was clean, beds were comfortable, but pillows could use an upgrade. The only complaint I have is our ADA room showed photos of a shower with a shower bench on the website when we were booking. This was a main draw for me when booking the room… as a seat in the shower means I don’t have to travel with my own. After check in, I realized our room did not have a seat in the shower. I did not alert the front desk, or try to change rooms after check-in, and I suppose I could have done these things. But we had been on the road for 14 hours and I just let it go. There were enough hand holds in the shower for me to take a quick shower with help from my husband. At the very end of our trip, while loading out to leave, I did spy a single roach on the floor. But… also discovered our son had left a pizza takeout box with a slice still left in it on the floor by his bed. After many miles of travel through the years, and preferring to stay in rooms with an outdoor entrance, we’ve learned never to leave food in our room when traveling in warmer climates. This will invite pests into even the cleanest motels in the south.

I pulled in not expecting what I experienced from looking at it from outside of the motel. It was actually pretty good and clean. I did my usual inspection of everything. It passed. The vending machines are not stocked and the laundry machines are very noisy. One of the ice machines were broken, so it was a walk to the other side of the building, but it isn't too bad. Staff were super friendly. They even called our room when a Door Dash delivery arrived.

I stayed here last night on 9/26. Came down here from Michigan to pick up some ivermectin for my mom’s cancer. I was going to leave a good review until this morning hit. Aside from this motel being right off the highway and VERY noisy, everything was still fine for the most part. Went down for breakfast and came back to see my room was being cleaned. I don’t know how anyone would leave their cell phone and wallet behind. Well, maid was kind enough to bring it to the front desk incase I came back for it. Yet… I didn’t even check out yet. I politely let her know I was still in my room and she told me where my phone and wallet was. As I was leaving to get my belongings from the front desk, she decided to pull out my gold earrings off her cleaning cart and say “I think these are yours too.” Returned my wallet and phone to the front desk, knowing I’d come back for those. Why didn’t she bring my earrings to the desk too? So yeah, the maids steal here.
