I stay exclusively at Best Westerns on the East Coast. This one is the weakest in terms of service. I was not thanked for being a member upon arrival or offered any complimentary water or informed at how many bonus points I was earning. $181 for one night (foliage season) was at least twice more than it was worth. The location traveling South is good; it's difficult to approach heading North.

The negative review are true. DO NOT STAY HERE. The place is very filthy with bugs, rooms are not properly serviced as there is leaking. Changing rooms do not remedy the situation because then you find another set of issues in the different room. They claim they’ll give you a refund then deny the refund. Please stay away from this property it will be a waste of money with no real solution to the matter and not getting your money back despite being told you would. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

I booked a stay at this hotel for 2 Nights and those two nights were the worst hotel experience I have had at a hotel. The hotel is very outdated and room has a bad distinct smell. They also don’t have an elevator and don’t expect anyone to help you bring your stuff up. I had to switch rooms about 3 times. During my second day of staying there, the tub kept clogging and the water was filling up and I had to call the front desk and have someone come fix it. After fixing it my tub was left dirty and I had to call them to have housekeeping come clean it. They also don’t answer the phone when you call from your room. I had to call them on my personal cell phone. Then later on in the day. a ROACH crawled across the desk as I was working on my computer. I didn’t get to take a picture as I immediately got up and packed my things up. At this point, I was so disgusted and couldn’t wait to leave. I called the front desk and told them I was fed up at this point and wanted to be compensated at least partial for my stay there. The front desk agreed if i called the booking site for a partial refund they would issue it. Now I’m being told they refused to give me a refund. I would avoid this hotel at all cost, even if it’s just for one night. The rooms are not clean and it seems to be family owned and they couldn’t care less about your concerns.

》Pros《 Location: This particular hotel was okay if you wanted a place for a couple of nights. It was located across the street from an Aldi's and some other shops. Our room was on the first floor and was reasonably clean. The Room: The room we stayed in was a 2 queen room just for context. Our room did not have bugs nor too many building imperfections (maybe some chipped walls sections but it doesn't truly matter for how reasonably priced they are) and the beds were clean and comfy. Their fridge and microwave also worked fine and had no issues. They had a great selection of TV channels to surf. Overall not bad. Staff: No issues with staff they all seemed relatively nice. 》Cons《 Location: The hotel is located amongst a highway thats split by a median all the way down for acres. This makes it hard to get to things across the street and you will be constantly making leprechaun turns to get to each side. After a while, this can be annoying but to say the least we were folks from out of town so 🤷 if you are okay then I suggest this location. The Room: It did have a terribly low water pressure for the shower and the toliet took forever to flush properly but the staff was made aware of this. The shower pressure was very average and could've been better but the cleanliness was decent overall (in the bathroom). Staff/Building Individuals: This place seems to be pet friendly, people were obnoxious and loud. Not sure if the room walls were thin, but it seemed noisy at times. The restaurant next door isn't legally open anymore. That was a bummer.

My wife and I were out here for my grandpas funeral. Never stayed here before but the reviews were half and half and conveniently we had family staying here as well. As soon as we arrived the building was in poor condition. We checked in fairly easy, when we got to our room it had an order to it. The fridge wasn’t plugged in so it stunk. There was about 2 inches of dust and not very clean at all. My wife did a thorough inspection and when she looked at the lamp there was bed bugs. We did not see any on the bed but we also didn’t stay in long enough to see. As soon as we saw them on the lamp we reported to the front desk where the gentleman offered us the room next door. We declined and they offered the room on the first floor. Again, my wife inspected it and it was also dirty. We decided to play it safe and book at the Hilton 20 mins from here. They stated we will be getting a full refund, so we shall see. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The bugs were under the lampshade!
