Wir wollten eigentlich 4 Übernachtungen in diesem Hotel verbringen.Leider ist das Hotel für uns eine einzige Katastrophe .Es sollte laut Beschreibung ein Safe in jedem Zimmer sein .War aber nicht ! Das kleine Fitnessstudio beeinhaltete so gut wie nichts.Der Geruch ( wir glauben es war Insektenvernichtungsmittel) lag wie ein Belag auf der Zunge .Die Zimmer nicht gut gereinigt und es liefen Insekten über den Teppich.Leider war es uns nicht möglich in siesem Hotel auch nur eine Nacht zu verbringen.Wir haben dann die Nacht bezahlt sind aber gleich weggefahren .Der Preis für war für so ein schlechtes Hotel auch sehr happig .Über 180 $.Wir wurden im Leben nicht dort übernachten.

My family and I booked a room here to go to Busch Gardens. I will start off by saying the front desk staff were very nice when we checked in and everything went normally during check in. She asked me for a credit card for Incidentals which I completely expected and that was all normal. I handed her my credit card and she put a hold on it for that. I didn't check my credit card as I have stayed at many best westerns and never had any issues for me to check (Complete mistake that I will never make again) and we stayed in a very large room (1 King, 2 double & a Sofa) the beds are comfortable and we did not see any bugs or anything however the room had a lot of stains on the carpet & damage to walls which all looked old (Not a Huge deal) the breakfast was not good so we ended up stopping somewhere on our way home to eat as no one in my room liked their breakfast. The Biggest Issue was when I got home I checked my credit card and I was Charged not for incidentals but the entire stay again! I paid for my room back in June of this year and had proof of payment as well. Once I noticed this my husband called Immediately (I was on a work call) when he called, the lady who answered the phone said No I never paid for my room and the charge on my credit card was correct. My husband let her know that the room was paid for well in advance and that We do have a receipt for it and she said to call who I booked through. My husband hung up with her and notified me of what she said and I had him call her back again and while on the phone she told him the same thing again and I asked to speak with a manager she stated the manager wouldn't be back for 2 days so I requested his name, her name, and the store number as I would be calling best western corporate and letting them know what happened she gave the info and hung up. While on my work meeting I got a random Voicemail from someone at the hotel stating that my credit card was "Incorrectly Charged" and mid sentence it hung up. I attempted to call back and got no answer. I waited until the next day and contacted Best Western corporate's Number. While on the phone with the agent she called the hotel to verify what I was telling her and she couldn't even get ahold of them and had to leave a message. She let me know I would hear from someone at the hotel within 2 days. Never received a call. Called corporate back today (5 days later) and she said the hotel responded same day and sent me an email. Never received a call but checked my spam folder and found a refunded invoice from them. I get accidents happen and sometimes computers can glitch but to me this seems extremely Shady with her especially once she told me she needed a credit card and my husband made a comment about me already paying for the room and she told him that it was only for any damage to the room after check out. Then all of a sudden saying I never paid for the room 2 days later. This was the exact same lady who checked me in and spoke with my husband 2 days later on the phone so there was no "Staff member told you something Incorrect" either. As a customer this screams Fraud. I hope I am wrong but after this mess I do not want to stay at another Best Western. I highly recommend anyone who stays here should check their account a few days later to make sure it doesn't happen to them. I do give a 2 star due to the room being "acceptable" and the beds being comfortable. We stayed on the 2nd floor and our room was quiet and slept fine.

Another Great visit with one of Tampa's hidden gems . Two nights of quiet, clean and enjoyable stay in South Tampa.
That was my experience ( 9/10 + 9/11 ) while visiting my friends in Tampa. Very nice spacious room, with a full breakfast from pancakes, eggs, bagels , toast and a variety of cereals, O.J. and 24 hour coffee, not to mention close to downtown. All that and at a price that tops the stay. Day and night staff always friendly and do not hesitate when you ask for extra towels.
Manager George Casanova knows how to provide exceptional hospitality to each and every guest seven days a week.
My Top recommendation if you are visiting downtown or
MacDill AFB or anywhere in Tampa. Thank You George.

Poor Maintenance, Hotel Falling Apart
The location is excellent — very convenient and close to everything — but unfortunately the hotel itself was a huge disappointment.
The sink was clogged
The shower faucet came off in my hand twice while taking a shower.
The bathroom was dirty, with hair from previous guests all over the floor and corners.
The carpet was filthy, clearly not cleaned properly for a long time.
It’s a shame, because the place has great potential due to its location, but the hotel feels like it’s falling apart. It desperately needs serious maintenance and better cleaning. Until those issues are fixed, I cannot recommend staying here.

We stayed the weekend of 9/5/25. This place was very clean, cold a/c in the rooms and great breakfast. The parking lot was very well lit at night. Overall I would recommend for the price and I would stay here again. Staff was also very friendly.
