Frustrated with the service...we decided to come a night early. When I called ahead of time, they told me to not book then because we would be there after midnight which would give us more charges. They said we could just do an early check in and gave us a cost. We arrived at 1:00am and did get a key to the room but were told to actually check in between 2:00 and 7:00am so it was with the same person. After a long day and 6 hours driving there, it wasn't ideal to have to stay up another hour but i did. On checkout, I was told the charges looked weird and to watch the credit card and contact the manager. I contacted the manager who said the charges were correct and didnt want to listen to much more even though we were told a cost on multiple occasions. On top of this, our bathroom door wouldnt close, the key cards rarely worked in the doors (many guests had this same issue), there was hair floating in the pool. However, breakfast was good.

Updated on 10/9/25 since owners response: Firstly, to flat out lie and say that my pictures are not even of your hotel is delusional and insane!!! My photos literally have date, time, and city location stamps! (Added below for proof). I have no reason to lie about my birthday experience at all. My husband even came in early to ensure we had better “room availability” options since we could not arrive until later in the evening and we did not want to get stuck with a “last room available” room option. We are Priceline Gold members because we travel a lot. (And please note that we have NEVER experienced this situation with ANY of our stays over the past 20 yrs!) We just happened to want to stay locally because again, it was my birthday and we planned on watching movies in the room and relaxing. I didnt even bother to mention how horrible the flooring was or how hot the room was upon arrival, which caused a musty smell. We just cut on the air and gave it a minute to air out. So don’t flatter yourself with thinking that my one legitimate complaint about seeing roaches is a lie. It’s not! And to deal with this in the middle of the night and have to shake out every single item before packing my bags to ensure I do not bring roaches back to my home is unacceptable! I’ve read previous customer complaints and there is not one in which you handled with any class or empathy! Only denial and disregard! Seems like our record is clean and you are the one who has a history of lies and deception. So shameful of you! Thank God we booked through priceline because we do not work every day to spend our hard earned money to be dissatisfied or inconvenienced, especially for my birthday! Original post: Hotel had roaches. I took multiple photos and informed the front desk ( a very nice guy) right away. Was told that the manager was not there until the AM. Manager denied my complaints stating that they didn’t see any roaches when they went to check. I have no reason to lie about my room having roaches and they should take complaints more seriously especially being a first time guest. I know alot of hotels are older and I do not complain much but the fact that I could take roaches home is ridiculous! Im highly unsatisfied and will continue looking for a resolution to my concerns.

The room was clean, there was a little wonky-ness in the floor where the floating laminate may have buckled due to some water damage, but was only noticeable if you walked on that spot. You could tell the rooms had been updated in recent years.

Best Western hasn’t changed in years. Rooms are still very basic. Maintenance is lacking. Bed was comfortable though. This particular location was behind the major street so it didn’t have road noise but was initially hard to find. Once in the room, so odd that the first floor location had wood chips in the window track and window wasn’t locked. Plus the electronic shades weren’t working properly. Breakfast wasn’t like Embassy Suites but they did have premade omelets, sausage, and a pancake maker, plus juices, breads, cereal, etc. If you don’t have high expectations, this could work for you We booked thru Hotels.com and wound up with a roll in shower room. We didn’t need it and when we indicated that they could save it for a person that is handicapped, we were told that they were sold out and couldn’t make a change. Too bad because the shower hose was falling apart and needed to be replaced.
