  First . Let me say the staff is great and the place is clean. We’ve stayed here several times in the past. This time we had an issue that was a frustrating and caused some discomfort. Our door wouldn’t open unless you literally shouldered it with all your weight to force it open. It was like it was stuck. My husband had better luck forcing it open. One time rather then mess with it I used my friends bathroom rather then try to mess with the door. I don’t have enough power behind me to force the door. We did tell the manager and they were unable fix it. There was time, it took two of us ladies to push to get it open . Finally, it was so stuck to the point I bruised my elbow from trying to force push it open. The manager took a photo of the large bruise. Nothing else was mentioned on what would be done or if we would be comped a night or who this photo was being sent to.

  Stayed here in June 2025 and it was a great choice. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Pool was so nice for the kids to unwind after being in the car. Breakfast was good. Staff was courteous and efficient at check-in. Would absolutely stay here again on the way to Voyageurs.

  Great room, hot tub, friendly helpful staff, and a nice selection of breakfast items. I will be back!
