- SGScott Grenerth6 days ago5.0When visiting shepherdsville for work in the past I've stayed at another property just down the street that have been very happy with but they were full. I was very glad to have found this as an excellent backup. The staff was super nice the room was perfectly clean and comfortable and have everything I needed. It was far enough from the interstate that my room was plenty quiet. I would not hesitate to come back at all.

Hot breakfast with many choices. Breakfast attendant very nice and helpful. Doug, the manager is a super nice person. He informed me the hotel will be undergoing a major renovation soon. I saw no need for it. Oh, and if you want to talk music/bands, Doug is your guy.🙂

- JLJeff LAug 11, 20252.0Carpets in the rooms were so disgusting, our feet were black on the bottoms after walking on them. Moldy/Musty smell in our room NEVER WENT AWAY. Breakfast was sparse at best. Biscuits and gravy and sausage links were good. Rooms were poorly kept, and does not look like they have been painted or remodeled since the late 80's. Fine place to stay for one night on the road to somewhere else, but definitely NOT a "destination" motel.

It is comfortable, and our room with 2 queen beds was clean and the beds firm. The location is quiet and the hotel is low key. You are not going to have buses of people or kids filling up the place. We stay at 12 or more hotels each year. Some are $500 per night and some are around $100 per night. This Best Western is fine for the price. You can walk to a Cracker Barrel, Burger King or the Tumbleweed - Tex Mex Grill.
