Initally landing in a roach infested motel…. Janice understood and checked us right in to a spotless room. This location is so great as it’s walkable to the river district . Breakfast offered was decent and with choices. After all of the confusion of the poor timing of tropical storm/ hurricane Melissa and the stress of back and forth decision making as to if we proceed on to Fl ….. another night was added to our stay at BW. Initally there was no vacancy but Janice and the front desk ladies went out of their way to keep us in our same room once reservations changed up making room for a second night While it may seem small to have to move locations….. given the chain of events of the weekend we really appreciated everything the front desk did for us. They literally saved our weekend from being a complete disaster /waist of short time spent and allowed us to get to enjoy some of Savannah. We never went on to Fl to our cruise… between the hurricane and a few sick family members we turned around and went home. The price was unbeatable for the area in general and the location/walkability was ideal. Thank you Janice and team for all of your efforts, they haven’t gone unnoticed.

Stayed here with family from 10/23/25 to 10/26/25. Rooms were satisfactory. Location was convenient and everything was within walking distance. The breakfast, however, was very disappointing. They were constantly out of coffee and when they would bring more coffee in a thermos, the coffee was COLD and very weak. They also charged $36 per night for parking.

The property is clearly in disrepair and isnt taken care of by cleaning staff either. While there are certain things you cant do anything about (outside noise, etc), there are certain things that youre straight up ignoring. Handle missing from the bathroom door. Vents dirty and dusty. Rooms dank and musty. Doors aren't properly sealed (i had to kill a number of insects that just decided to come in and say hi). As I walk around I can clearly see copious amounts of water pouring from the top floor to the first. Breakfast is glorifed cat food. I can see its appeal if you have family. But any adult who can afford it should take 10 dollars and go get a breakfast sandwich from maples. I know its a best western and not a four seasons but this is embarrassing. Edit: changing my review to one star. Checked out and was billed a different amount than the original agreement because "weekend rates are higher." I've been traveling since i was a teenager and thats not how this works babe. Pay a bit more money and stay somewhere else.

Great location. Very convenient access to downtown Savannah. I attended an event at the Ships Museum which was in easy walking distance. The hotel itself was rather old but in good shape. The staff were very nice. My only complaint was there were small flying bugs in the room. Not many, but enough to be a nuisance. The price was fair for the room.

Originally I had no issues with this hotel when I arrived, you get what you pay for type of deal. Stayed for one night with the checkout time being 11am and “housekeeping” a male knocks on the door around 9:50am and says housekeeping. I responded back with “do not come in” loudly, he then says it again and I got louder with my response as he opens the door and looks at my friend and I laying in the bed then he shut the door and acted like it was nothing. We got our stuff together to vacate the room after the unnecessary invasion of privacy that was done to us. Even after we saw the male housekeeper upon leaving he said nothing and just looked at us like nothing was wrongfully done on his behalf. We will never head back to this Best Western location again after this experience.
