  We’ve been to better Best Westerns. The location was good, but our room wasn’t great. It was clean, but there was a huge crack in the window that was taped shut. The bathroom was very small, the shower has barely any breathing room. One of the outside doors didn’t close, so they were propping it open, giving access to anyone. We didn’t love that, as our room was right at the top of the stairs. The breakfast options were good, we liked the corn beef hash and mini omelettes. No complaints about the staff, they were all very welcoming.

  Extremely terrible experience, no customer service at all. Just a money grabber with no warning at all. We travelled to Sault st Marie in Ontario on September 6 2025 and it was late evening and searched for hotels nearby and this hotel popped up without any warning that it's in USA! We realized it literally two minutes after the booking, then we immediately called to cancel booking, to which they just refused to budge. We obviously can't go to USA and can't use this booking at all because they share the same city but yet in a completely different country! Yet nowhere during the booking process were any warning or confirmation of country. Expedia also called them on our behalf (we booked through expedia) to try reason with them, to no avail! This is the worst booking experience with any hotel by far! They have no sympathy or understanding at all. Not even a cent of refund for a over $200 payment for nothing. Worst experience and we would definitely never do business with them ever again!
