  Generally, we have a great experience here. However, this past vacation was met with difficulties. Our rooms were promised to be next to each other with an interior accessible door (like always). When we arrived, we were told all rooms that connected were booked out, plus there was no note about the request. Upon calling customer service, they confirmed the promise/note is written on our reservation. Second, the rooms we were given had broken AC units. As we were already flustered about the rooms being so far from each other, this was just another pain. We were given a different room for the one with a bad AC that was again even further than the other room. I can compliment the generosity of the maid who provided us additional blankets and pillows at a late hour.

  This hotel offers excellent breakfast options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices. The dining area is bright and welcoming, and the staff were always ready to assist. I appreciated the little details like fresh pastries and quality coffee. A great way to start the day!

  This is our 2nd year at the Santee location. We love it. Clean, friendly and convenient. The staff from house keepers to managers are polite and accommodating. Nice pool and hot jacuzzi

  Not clean. We found roaches and ants everywhere! My non smoking room WREAKED of smoke, they couldn’t move me rooms so they gave me a machine to run. I’m pregnant and I have a small baby so the whole time we were inhaling third hand smoke which is very harmful, it gave us all very bad headaches. The machine I had to run smelled terrible and was also not safe to smell so we had to leave while it was on (45mins at a time). What a waste to pay for a hotel I can’t even stay in. The smell never went away after running the machine 3+ times. Also the microwave was missing parts so I couldn’t heat up my baby’s milk. And when I turned the AC on to try to ventilate the smell, the AC had its on terrible smell. Oh and the beds were super uncomfortable too! They told me I could only have 1 car on the property as well so that wasn’t convenient for us at all. The area is also kind of sketchy. We heard people arguing loudly all night. This was the worst experience of my life.

  The property was good we found some hairs on the bathroom n the bed cover w stains
