We went for the Chicago Marathon. We had a great time. The beds were very comfortable, and it was a good stay for the few days we were there because you're rarely in the room. However, they could improve the noise inside and outside the room. I mean, maybe more soundproof windows. I needed to rest, and there were a couple of days I used earplugs because the air conditioning was so loud, since it's an older unit, but the other days I could do sleep, it’s just a pointer they could improve, the staff and everyone was SO FRIENDLY! The best of Best Western! And THE BEST location!! Everything is 7-15 min walking! And in a beautiful city it’s all worth it

Rooms are old and not good at keeping the noise outside. There were a lot of noises from the road and also the guests who were staying at the hotel. We got woken up multiple times in several days due to neighbors' parties We did call the hotel staff. They sent the security but the effect didn't last long. The staff were not super helpful and appeared to be used to these kinds of complaints. Restrooms have no air ventilation. I would not recommend this hotel if you want a peaceful place to rest and recharge for business purposes.

It is kind of late to comment this since I was there in the summer of 2024 but this was one of the best places I've stayed with 3 of my friends during our travel. There was a really cool receptionist guy who really helped us out and even fixed our reservation. Said he worked there a while and worked somewhere else for a long time before that. To be honest, this place actually deserves this 5 stars rating, but he is the only reason I'm rating at all. Give that man a raise or medal or something nice at all.

Had the most amazing time in Chicago! The city never disappoints, from the food to the vibes, everything was top-tier. A special shout out to Wallace, whose hospitality truly went above and beyond. He made me feel so welcomed and comfortable the entire time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better host. Forever grateful for the laughs, the memories, and the kindness that made this trip unforgettable. Can’t wait to go back!

The best thing about this hotel was the location. Mc Donal’s flag ship store was across the street. One block away was Target and Wall greens. 2 blocks are a lot of restaurants. Very safe to walk around in day time. Another one was the ADA room that we stayed for 7 days. The room was clean and spacious. Everything looked new. The fridge is much bigger than the typical mini fridge at other hotel chain. Good lighting. There was a water station on the right side of the lobby, right before the entrance to the onsite restaurant Pizzeria Ora. No need to go buy water bottles. The front desk did not even bother to disclose this information to the guests. On the first day, we had to walk to Target to buy water. The coffee station had a very good coffee machine that could make different types of coffee. Unfortunately, the hotel only operated it from 6am to 9am. The cut off was too early. They should extend it to 10am or 11am. The hotel used the onsite restaurant Pizzeria Ora to provide breakfast to hotel guest. choices were very limited. Most people stayed with option 1 or 2. The portion was average. Quality was decent. After 7 days, it was very boring to eat the same things over and over. I missed the buffet style which offers more varieties. I gave 3 star for the onsite restaurant Pizzeria Ora - food and service. Price was expensive. No value. Attendants were cold, having a “you’re not welcome” attitude. The hotel lobby was not designed for handicapped customers. There were doors that could be opened automatically to let the person in. After that, they were faced with 4 steps of stair to climb up. It was a big hassle for us to go in and out every day. My husband had to carry my heavy walker up and down. We stayed there for 7 days. So, we were up and down the stair at least 20 times. The front desk had only one man in charge. He was busy all the time to be able to offer any help. They had a make shift platform to move people in wheel chair. No one ever offered to use it for me. It was there for show, not for customer to use. I received a quick thank and acknowledgement from the front desk. No gift bag to a Platinum member like the ones I received at other BW. Improvement notes: Please make on ramp entrance to the lobby for handicap access. Offer buffet style breakfast. Tiny and dirty elevator. Extend the coffee machine hour to 10-11am.
