    Upon arrival and check-in, Matt was very helpful and prompt with keys. We walked into our reserved king room to find three wasps flying around (!!!), the thermostat unusable and falling off the wall and the wallpaper peeling. Thankfully my partner was there to catch the wasps or I wouldve left the room immediately. We brought our new buzzing friends back to Matt at the front desk who was horrified at the situation. He offered to “upgrade” us to a double bed or walk to the sister property across the street. After a full travel day, I was less than pleased at either “upgrade” and said I would sleep in my wasp-free room for the night but wanted to talk to a manager. Matt said the manager would be in at nine and would absolutely talk to us. The next morning, I spoke with Chris at the front desk and explained the situation. He looked equally as horrified and tried to reach his manager who was still not in at eleven o’clock in the morning. He took down my contact information and said he would speak to his manager about issuing a refund and be in touch. Shortly, he realized the booking was through Expedia and explained I should have Expedia advocate on my behalf as the third party booking site. I did so and was told by the rep that they would reach out to Best Western to issue a refund after my terrible stay. Within 48 hours, I received an email from Expedia saying the request was DENIED by the hotel and that according to policies there was nothing to done. Expedia tried to rectify the situation with a credit to my account for $75. But for over $300 a night, I expect SO MUCH MORE from a hotel. SHAME ON YOU BEST WESTERN. **EDIT** Since the posting of this review and the below comment from the owner, I was able to reopen to case through Expedia and request a refund again. It was granted immediately. Thank you, Best Western, for making It right!

    I must say the breakfast is excellent. Everybody was professional, but the hotel room was awful. The bathroom is so small. It’s like a closet when you use the toilet the bathroom door hitch your legs you cannot move around in the bathroom to sink is near the exit door is ridiculous. How small this room is And it wasn’t at a discount price I pay full price. OK I must say the breakfast

    To say this hotel was a nightmare is a severe understatement. My husband and I booked this hotel for a stay 9/21 - 9/24. My husband was impressed by the photos online and the low price. Well, the saying "You get what you pay for" couldn't be truer and always know that pictures can be deceiving. Upon entering the parking deck we were greeted by an overflowing dumpster. (see the picture attached) We proceeded to the elevator to get to the lobby that couldn't fit more than 2 or 3 people with one piece of luggage and the sound when you got to your floor was like a tone from the 1930's. I've never heard a sound like that. It was very disconcerting. The lobby looked much nicer and better than the online photo. The manager was very nice and seemed excited that we were there. We checked in and headed to our room. Once we exited the elevated we were again greeted with trash. (picture attached) The room was small and dark. We could wash our hands while sitting on the bed. Which I never did by the way. It was an immediate "No". We were in the room for 2 minutes before deciding to leave. We headed to the lobby to let the manager know we were leaving. The telling part is, he didn't seem surprised by our early departure. We were told we would be refunded for our reservation. Five days later the charge is still on my credit card and the pending $75 incidental fees. This is totally unacceptable!

    We had some issues during one of our stays and consequent communications with an employee who is no longer there (not related to our issue), and Jess the manager was amazing troubleshooting the issue and being able to compensate us for the trouble we were having. The hotel itself is great-- the rooms are a good size, comfortable bedding, we only wish the bathrooms were a bit bigger, but not a big deal! The breakfast is also wonderful, definitely get what you pay for!

    AMAZING! We booked last minute so weren't expecting much especially for the price, but we were very pleasantly surprised! Easy check in/out process, kind staff, a little goodie bag, very clean room, and the BEST breakfast. In a nice, clean, walkable area as well. ...but the elevator had the most unique and off putting chime that was scary haha.
