We stayed at the Best Western in Kamloops for a night on our trip, and it was super easy to get to from the highway.
I booked it with breakfast so we wouldn't have to fuss with finding food in the morning, which was good, but it was really expensive! I wasn't expecting that price in the off-season.
I was really disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The pictures online looked amazing, but the reality was completely different.
When we arrived, everything felt small and cramped. The lobby was tiny and always crowded, and the one elevator was constantly packed. The room itself looked okay at first, but it wasn’t properly cleaned we actually had to do some of our own cleaning. The bathroom supplies (like shampoo and conditioner) were empty, and we had to go down to the service desk to ask for refills.
The pool area was dirty extremely dirty! The gym was right next to the pool, so people walking from the pool made the gym floors wet and slippery, which was really unsafe since there were no “wet floor” signs.
The sauna didn’t work properly it was dry, not warm at all, and had a terrible smell. It felt like it hadn’t been maintained in a long time.
The only good thing was that the bed was somewhat comfortable, but even the view was disappointing just a parking lot and a gas station.
Overall, the hotel is overpriced for the quality and service you get. I’ve stayed at cheaper hotels in Kamloops that were much cleaner and had way better service. The management really needs to work on cleaning standards, maintenance of facilities, and fair pricing.

Had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent amenities and great service overall — highly recommended!
Upon arrival, I was given a room on the 1st floor despite me specifically requesting a high floor room during my reservation. The front desk staff continued to argue that I specifically asked for an accessible room on the first floor until she noticed a high floor request on my reservation. When I asked her to change my room to a higher floor, she insisted there will be an extra charge. After a few minutes of going back and forth, she finally changed my room to a higher floor but not willingly. When I got to my new room, I was greeted by an overwhelming amount of pet odour to the point I had to go out and purchase an air freshener. On my way to go purchase the air freshener, I overheard the front desk staff talking to her coworker negatively about the argument she had with me. Then when she saw me walking by the front desk, she covered up her mouth in shock. I will not stay at this hotel in the future and I definitely will not recommend it.

Advertised as a pet friendly hotel all over their official website, but they are selectively pet friendly in reality. Had a manager and front desk worker argue with me despite their website information being flawed. Awful service.
