  This is was a very clean and enjoyable hotel. Breakfast was amazing and Th staff was very knowledgably of the island with make great recommendations for area restaurants and rentals. Patricia went far and beyond for making us comfortable.

  It is an older hotel but it was maintained and everything was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent with shops close by and a drive in beach access just down the street.

  DO NOT STAY HERE! There were bed bugs everywhere so they moved us to a different room and were supposed to reimburse us for the time we stayed right? WRONG! They reimbursed $488 on Friday and then two days later PULLED $488 from our account. We called and asked to talk to a manager and it turns out they reimbursed the wrong card so we were charged again for some reason. Safe to say we will be calling corporate. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE. It was already enough having our room filled with bed bugs as showed in the pictures.

  The blankets were so dirty, that it gave me an ick. It has moldy stains. I requested new one from front desk, it also have bunch of hairs strands sticking. The staff was accommodating though, the rooms are updated but cleanliness is an issue. Bathtub has a weired odor at first when ran the water. The only thing I look for in a hotel is clean sheet and bedding, which was lacking. Probably won't be back until the house keeping improves. It's a pity cause the location wise it's a great stay.

  Edit to add: I am not sure how to respond to the owner's response so I guess I'll do it here. I would appreciate speaking directly to you but I'm not sure how. We had a first with this motel. We got to our room about 1:20 am and start checking it out; it smelled like a wetish mildew smell. My husband walked into the bathroom and says "uh what is this?". There were two towels IN THE TOILET! The lid and seat were lifted and the towels had soaked up all of the water in the toilet! My husband grabbed the little hand towel that was folded in a decorative way and was hanging from the towel rack to use it to get the towels out of the toilet, it was also wet! There was a long dark hair, wedged in the door stopper in the bathroom. There was a makeup stain with visible glitter still on one of the covers on the bed. The phone had the numbers 0-9 and all of the other buttons had been taken out. We didn't have an option for calling the front desk or requesting a wake up call. The remote and phone also just felt dirty and gritty, as well as the floors. The sheets were scratchy. Overall, it just felt gross.
