I showed up just before midnight after driving for hours, only to find out the hotel had canceled my reservation without notifying me. I made my reservation weeks in advance and my room was sold to someone else, and the hotel was at full capacity.
So there I was: a woman traveling alone, stranded in an unfamiliar city at midnight with no room and no help. The staff offered nothing. I sat in my car crying, frantically calling other hotels, only to learn most were fully booked. It was terrifying, careless, and completely unacceptable.
This hotel left me abandoned in the middle of the night. DO NOT book here unless you want your reservation ignored and your safety put at risk.
*Update to my original review in response to management:
First, I arrived before midnight, so blaming your “midnight audit” doesn’t make sense. I had to wait in the lobby for a manager to show up to locate my information. My reservation should not have been canceled before I even walked through the door.
Second, you claim there was “no contact information” attached to my reservation, yet I received a confirmation when I booked. How would I have been able to make a reservation at all if no information was attached? And if something was missing or a card needed to be updated, no one made any attempt to contact me in advance.
The bottom line is unchanged: I made a confirmed reservation weeks ahead, arrived on time, and was left without a room, without help, and without any concern for my safety. That is not a policy issue — it is a failure of basic communication and responsible hospitality.
Guests deserve accountability, not excuses.
