- JSjoshua salterOct 22, 20254.0Pretty nice hotel. We had a pet room which kind of smelled like a kennel but, its their designated pet room so its to be expected. The door in the back opened up to a nice gulf view. Its location is what makes it the best being walking distance to the dock for sunset views and Dunedin for a perfect walk around a nice small town.
- JHJoanne HorrocksOct 19, 20253.0Firstly let me say that the location of this place, the cleanliness and the staff are all excellent. It’s just a short walk to Main Street with its lovely shops, bars and farmers market, and there are 2 restaurants almost on site (one exceptionally more affordable than the other). We paid extra for a bay view and balcony, but as far as I could tell every room had a balcony or patio, and non had a bay view, they all looked over the carpark. Whoever designed this place got it back to front or maybe it was built the wrong way round, it would be so much better if it was rotated through 180° with balconies overlooking the water. Asides from the disappointing view I had 2 other gripes, one of which was that the pool was in the middle of the carpark and I found that uninviting. But my biggest gripe was the quality of sleep, the windows had beautiful wooden shutters on them that were rendered pointless by the glass bricks below them and the glassed eaves above it. There was no way of blocking the light into the room. In addition the air conditioning is not vented it is a standalone unit on the external wall that I can only describe as a jet engine. So if you want a good nights sleep I suggest you bring earplugs and an eye mask.

- LLlexSep 28, 20255.0went with my grandma all around florida, eventually landed here in July-August 2025 and BOY we were in for such a treat! first of all, the location is lovely and SUPER walkable, the best western is in the perfect location + has a view of the water right thru the back door! however what made our stay here most magical was my guy Elyjah. He is a calm, professional, but jovial young man and assisted us with every little thing we needed + more. never before have I met a hotel employee that was so quick to assist us and made us feel so welcome. Every time we came back to the lobby from the day's events, Elyjah would be the first to greet us with a warm smile and a pleasant conversation. we truly felt at home there. I already miss this place, and i hope Elyjah is doing well!
