  The room walls are paper thin- you can hear EVERYTHING. No garbage has been removed all week and even after placing in the hall it is just sitting there. The gym was in an old basement most of the equipment brooked or missing. The water pressure is terrible, lighting is like living in a prison and the front desk service is lacking. The breakfast is hot - eggs, sausage, etc. but VERY low quality food and coffee. This was not the cheapest hotel in town, so go elsewhere for a bargain.

  I stayed for 14 days and the house keeping only cleaned my room and changed my bedding once. They had told me there policy was that the room would be cleaned every three days. The one day house keeping did clean my room it took four hours for her to change the bedding and vacuum and she did not put toilette paper in the room or wipe the sink or mop the tile were the sink was or clean the bathroom. Further when i went to go to bed in what should have been clean bedding i got bidden by bugs. When i told the front desk i thought the house keeper brought bed bugs because i was not being bitten the nights before she cleaned my room the front desk person stated the manager stated i could leave and i would not be given another room because that was the only available room designated for someone with a pet. The front desk changed my bedding and vacuumed my room and the biting when I was in my bed stoped. On the 14 day when I tried to bring up house keeping not cleaning my room the manager Brandis response was to ask me to leave and tell her staff not to clean my room until a I left. I found out the manager Brandi had told the staff not to clean my room until I left because a different staff member that only spoke Spanish knocked on my door and asked me in Spanish if I wanted my room cleaned and I said yes. I went to speak to Brandi and Brandi stated no one was suppose to clean my room until I left. Up until that point she claimed her staff were refusing to clean my room but the staff member that does not speak English apparently did not get the memo so Brandi was caught in a lie. Next thing I know I go back to my room and another staff member had gone up and was speaking to the Spanish house keeper telling her not to clean my room. They have carpet which is forever dirty and retains odor because it is carpet and instead of having house keeping regularly shampoo and clean the carpet they put out an ozone machine if a smell happens which does not address that the carpet actually needs regularly scrubed and cleaned and take care of where the odor is comining from. Further ozone machines are not suppose to be around people or animals as they emit a toxic gas and they just stick the ozone machine in the hall around people with no ventilation. Brandi will not hold her house keeping to policy concerning cleaning and if you complain instead of having house keeping clean she will tell you to leave. Do not recommend this hotel under current management. Further I was told I could not have a different room after being bitten by bugs because the designate certain rooms for pets so they don't put people with allergies in those rooms but when Brandi told me to leave she claimed they would need to do certain things to my room because people have allergies, she also complained about my pet being in that room ( again they put me in that room because it was suppose to be a pet room) stating there is no ventilation because there are no operable windows or ceiling fans. I don't know if any other rooms have ceiling fans or windows you can open but if you are going to complain about no ventilation in the room why designate that a room for people with pets. For a newer building that advertises as pet friendly it was poorly designed with the carpet in the rooms and especially in the pet rooms and no operable windows again especially in the pet rooms and no ceiling fans. Also no bathtubs. The only one that complained about my dog was Brandi. Everyone else would smile and great him and another guest actually offered to walk him and watch him if I needed. My dog made people smile and happy. The reason this place is not actually pet friendly is the current manager Brandi. The reason this place smells and is dirty is because the current manager Brandi tells her staff to not clean people's rooms and does not hold her cleaning staff accountable and if anyone complains she tells them to leave instead of addressing her staff because she feels no one has authority over her and there is no real checks and balances. Do not recommend under current management.

  Excellent stay! Love the location and service. The room was awesome, clean and quiet! Bed very comfortable. Will definitely stay again!

  Everything was very clean and rooms were very nice. Only thing was the breakfast wasn't great.

  Pleasantly surprised and better than I expected. It's been updated and has a contemporary feel, very professional staff at check in, and a good breakfast. The location is easy from the interstate and only about 5 minutes to downtown Wausau.
